Water...am I doing it wrong?

I know, drinking water should be self explanatory, but still..
So looking at water intake recommendations for my weight (152lbs) I should be drinking about 2 liters of water.
So, I drink water throughout the day to meet that. BUT I find I alternate from feeling extremely thirsty where I feel like I have to gulp down water to being bursting at the seams running to the bathroom.
Am I doing this wrong?

I just drink and not worry. If your urine is dark all day then you definitely need more if not you are fine.0

defintely this.
if you feel extremely thirsty you may be dehydrated or consumed a lot of sodium. as long as you are staying hydrated through out the day you are doing it correctly0 -
When u have to pee a lot...u are doing it right.0
