extra calories..use or lose?

I've been finding myself with extra calories I haven't used at the end of most days...like today it's 9:00 p.m. and I still have 700+ calories to use. Should I try to eat them, or just lose them? Most days it's around 200 to 300 extra.

I've been having the same thing happen. I think I'm erring on the wrong side of dieting - scared of eating too much so I under eat. It's not healthy to do that I know. I've been working on getting more calories in throughout the day and today for the first time I was at my goal of 1200 calories with just a light snack after dinner.

Friend me and maybe we can motivate one another ;-)

it seems like you overate a little yesterday so you can just let it go.
    Unless you're hungry....
have a glass of wine or something... o.o

I'd say just lose them... as long as you're not too far below for too many consecutive days, you'll be good. As long as you're averaging your goal throughout the week, you're doing fine. I don't force myself to eat and if I'm ravenous I eat even if I'm going to be over. It has worked for me. Listen to your body, it'll tell you what it needs. If it's just a little hunger, then I'll let it be. Or if I'm not hungry at all, I'm not going to eat just to eat, my body will tell me when it needs fuel.

I've been thinking about that too because all last week I've been way under and not hungry.

Looking at my diary, I find I typically have one day (like today) when I'm a little high and 6 days that are a little low. I'm always under for the week and not hungry. Sounds sustainable to me.
