Does anyone here use the over-the-counter Foot Soldier orthotics? My podiatrist wants me to use them but when I tried them they feel like they are very high in the arch. Is that the way they are supposed to feel? He wants me to use them for 6 weeks and then come back to see him. Just wondering if this is how they are supposed to fit? Thanks.

yes they are suppossed to feel like that. You will get used to the feel of the insole in about a two weeks, and then walking on regular insoles will feel way out of sorts.
  • I developed severe plantar faciitis in both my feet from wearing shoes on the treadmill that did not have enough support. My podiatrist molded my feet and had orthotics made for me that I can not imagine walking without today. It is odd at first because if you are like me you have almost lost your arch due to bad shoes and flip flops.

Keep using them and not only will you get used to them but your back and body will appreciate it in the long run!

Thanks for the replies. I guess I'll give them a try and see what happens.
