Hi guys,
So i lose weight much better when i keep my carbs super low (around 50-70grams). I normally have a PHD diet whey protein shake to replace breakfast and dinner and then 2 high protein snacks and a high protein lunch (meat/fish and salad). My problem is this only comes in at around 1000 calories a day. I am trying to lose a fair bit of fat in 8 weeks but worried i'm going too low with my calories...what do you think?
If too low..how can i add calories without carbs?! thanks xxx

This and 1-1.5g protein per LBM.0 -
Cook your meat/fish/chicken in olive oil. That will help you add calories and it's healthy for you.0

I second! coconut oil, butter, avocado, bacon grease etc. pile it on.0

Cheese and some less-lean protein (add some bacon in there).0

Thanks guys. I will try and add in some more "good" fats and really drop my carbs! xxx0

Fat is your friend, just avoid the trans.
73% for me today, a record0 -
Diet whey protein ? put some cream in it. You don't want low fat anything if you're doing low carb.
Or eat proper food, like bacon and egg.0 -

canned tuna, sardines, salmon! proteins and great fats! eggs, bacon, grilled chicken, even canned chicken - watch the added sodium in some of them. All add cals and no carbs!
And agree on the nuts - macademia, cashew, almond mix is great. Carbs are lower and the fats in these nuts are good for you!0 -
Bump! I run into the same problem!0
