I originally came from caloriecount.about, but their database is pathetic, and is missing half of what i eat! I came to this place not to long ago, but was only using it as a guide to write in my own stuff, but this ended up being easier.
I'm glad there is a helpful community here and i hope to become a part of it!
Today is my first day using this. Alot of my food choices are going to be subpar at first, but iu hope to get better with time!
I also like to go to antique stores and buy old style low fat cook books. You can't beat 2 dollars for a large book of tasty healthy recipes! I know i can probably get alot of this stuff online, but books are easier to make recipes from than a computer.(i have a laptop vbut i don't want to drag it into the kitchen, plus every time i need a recipe i didn't print off first the internet dies!!!)
Feel free to friend me so we can help support eachother

95% of my apartment is decorated with stuff from the 1960's and earlier. plus the furniture!!!! You can find some really really nice old sturdy furniture for like 300 dollars and under! Whereas you'd pay like 2500 for it at a store these days and it'd already be falling apart0
