Visiting Chicago - Help!!!

Hi,

My girls and I are planning a trip to Chicago later this year but have no idea what the weather will be like (after August).

Does anyone know what the best time to visit is before it gets cold?

    Hello, as a Chicagoan I don't even know what the weather will be like! LOL it is very unpredictable, but I would say anytime between August and October.

    I'm from Chicago as well, its about 100 degrees today and yes the weather does change but I would plan on bringing shorts and an umbrella!!

    I agree with what the others have said... I will add that September and early October are probably your best bets.
