Best things to snack on

I wondered if anyone could advise - I am trying to keep to MFP calorie allowance but appear to keep falling about 200 calories short. Add on the calories I earn from exercise and this can go up to 500/600 calories!!
I recently had a stomach condition in which my doctor told me I have to "graze" throughout the day rather than eat three meals. Therefore ,my typical daily diet is along the following:
Breafkast: banana and yoghurt (sometimes a piece of oatbread toast) with a cup of tea.,
Lunch: home made soup, ryvitta with ham.
Snacks: pears, dried apricots, banana, diet coke, quavers.
Dinner: Somethign along the lines of homemade stews - tonight it's summer chicken stew with potatos and green veg, tomorrow it's turkey and mixed bean chilli.
I don't feel particularly hungry outside of this eating pattern but my friend has warned me my body could go into "starvation" mode and refuse to lose weight!
Any suggestions?
