Beginner starting 30 day shred - muscle soreness Q

My youngest is 5 months old and I'm looking to get back into shape as I lose my last ~5 lbs of pregnancy weight. I'm "skinny fat" so I'm looking to keep losing fat and replace it with muscle to maintain my weight once I've lost these last few pounds. I've ordered the 30 day shred. I'm not sure if I will do it every single day, but I'd like to if I can get motivated. My concern is that I haven't been active until now, since I got pregnant in May of last year and had some complications. I'm anticipating significant soreness, especially after the first workout. Should I give myself a few days to heal before getting back into the program, or should I push through? I don't want to injure myself.

I had to give up for reasons unrelated to fitness but after the first workout I was SORE AS HELL.
I carried on.
By day four I felt amazing and was already seeing results.
I was in pain but it soon went after a few days and I was so glad I carried on through.
Stopping just stops the progress.
If you can cope, keep going.
This worked for me - I am no expert.

I just finished day 1 and I havent exercised in a long time. I am not as sore the next day as I was right after it. I took a HOT shower and had my fiance give me a massage and I was good to go. I am going to do day 2 tonight... I already feel results, crazy lol0

I'm on day 8 of level one. The day after day one I was pretty sore in my arms and thighs... I pushed myself and once I started the workout on day 2 the soreness went away. I haven't been (very) sore since. I have only taken one day off and it was more of a time issue than wanting to rest.
But, as a mom myself, I know that some days it's just not possible. I say do it as often as you can. Make a pact to at least start the workout everyday. I bet you'll find that more often than not you'll finish it and feel 100x better.0 -
I want to try this, but was wondering how you log it into the "track your exercise". I couldn't find it listed and I'm not sure how to figure out how many calories I burn during the exercise. I wanted to compare it to what I'm doing now and see if I would burn more calories with the 30 day shred.0

I take L-Glutamine and Arnica Tabs to help with muscle soreness.
I also use Arnica cream.
I don't do the 30DS but I do HIIT kettlebell workouts and somtimes discover new muscles lol0 -
It's extremely common to be very sore when you first start a new exercise routine. Give yourself some time to recover in between the first couple of workouts, and you'll adapt to it. When you're taking those recovery days, try to gently stretch any extremely tight / sore muscles, and work them lightly to help relieve the pain (walk around the house a bit for calves and upper legs, etc). Eat plenty of food and get lots of sleep; it helps!
I just got back into karate after 17 years... I was limping for 4 days after the first class. My calves were destroyed, but I've been to two more classes since then, and haven't had any excessive stiffness or pain in those muscles since.0 -
The first 3 days of the shred I was super sore. By day 4 I was finally like, oh yeah, this is manageable! I'm on day 24 today.0
