Hi My name is Courtney. Im a married mom of 3 wonderful kids (6,5,2) and work 55 hours/6days a week. I have been trying and wanting to lose weight for years and basically ive lost and gained and gained and lost. I believe if I had some supportive people it would help greatly. I have no one at home or work that is in support of me losing weight. They said that "Im fine" Sorry 5 feet and 240 is not fine. My problem is snacking. I like to snack and I snack often...I dont know why but I do.
It'll be nice to meet you guys and hope I can get some online friends with similar goals as mine.

Hey, add me, too! I've only been here for a few days but already I'm noticing a big difference, and I'm a LOT more aware of what I'm putting into my body. This site forces me to be aware of what I'm eating, and I will sometimes put back the snack for the thought of entering all those calories into my log for the day!
Stay committed and don't lose heart. Exercise is SO important too. Even if all you do one day is walk, you're still lapping everybody on the couch! Add me and we can support each other!0 -
I have similar goals as you also. I want to lose 50 lbs more as I have lost 25 total since January, but scale hasn't moved in a couple of months now. I have one daughter, whose 20, and a one year old grandson who live with us, and i also have 12 hour days (including commute). Time is precious to me, and it seems like there's never enough time to cook and exercise. Feel free to add me and we can try to keep each other motivated0

Im posting here again. I fell off the deep end and pretty much gave up again. I wish I could stick to it and I wish my husband would do it with me. Im now 250 and tired of living like this. =\0

I used to snack when I was bored. I don't buy the junk anymore so if I feel the need... I grab a glass of water first and then if all else fails I have healthy snacks as my backup. I plan my food day and eat 4-5 times a day smaller meals so I don't get hungry. Good luck!!0
