Has anyone ever made vegan cheese cake? was it good? I need a recipe! please help!

    You can take almost any cheesecake and modify it to make it vegan. Now I have not tried using tofu, but I've used the tofutti cream cheese to make cheesecakes and it is wonderful. If you use a graham cracker bottom with vegan margarine, its also delicious. Try looking up the no bakes, they often use less cream cheese and its easy to make substitues. There is also a bakery that makes them and sells them in health food stores...don't remember the name though...

    Sigh looks like i'm baking this weekend,
    But on the plus side, with peanut butter snd tofu, it should be packed full of protein.
