OMG that's awesome! You look great. How long is insanity? It's 60 days right?0

This is the first month results and yeah I start the second month in a week. They have a 5 day or so recovery period so once I do that then its onto month 2.0

Well done!!! I see a difference all over, but especially in your legs. You look great!0

NIIICCCCCEEEE! I was told to try this program but scared to death that's its INSANE hence the name! My mids look like yours pre and I have lost 31 lbs since the beginning of the year. Don't even pay attention to the scale.... it does nothing for me either! Pics and way clothes fit. Keep up the awesome work!!!!!!!!!!!!!0

You look awesome. Great job!!!!0

You look great!! Make sure you're landing as softly as you can when jumping, insanity is really hard on knees. I would do it everyday if my knees could take it..0

GREAT job! I was thinking of an Insanity/P90X hybrid or Turbo Fire/ChaLEAN Hybrid when I'm done P90X. We will see...I've always been intimidated by Insanity although I've been working out a long time and am pretty fit for my age lol. You're doing it and a lot of ppl quit with Insanity before the miracle happens and you didn't! Bravo!0

Thank you guys very much for all the kind words I really love my MFP community, the most supportive and kindest people on the internet.
I am dead surprised too, I didnt even want to do Insanity after 30 Day Shred because I just didnt think it would do anything. I figured I would be working too hard for little to no results. Im really glad to be where Im at and am half way there.
Im hoping in the next month when I do the Max workouts, then Ill see some real magic.0 -

Yes! The trick to landing softly? Land on your toes then put your heel down. I'm almost 40 and do lots of plyo still...hoping to keep it that way for some time to come b/c I'm kind to my knees (knock on wood...I just did P90X Plyometrics today lol)0 -
Good job! i see a big difference!0

Good job! holy mackeral! I guess the infomercials are true...real life right here congrats....keep going strong!0

Way to go on the results you look awesome!! I just started mine three days ago to lose a little extra college weight I gained. Did you feel like you were literally going to die your first week!? lol I have had to pause it almost every 5 minutes to catch my breath for 30 seconds before I could press play again so I kind of felt like I was cheating, but I know you are supposed to go at your own rate. I am happy to find a thread with someone else doing it as well and a little a head of me to keep me motivated!0

Oh yes definitely. I wanted to die. I never paused the video but If I was dieing for breath I would just do jumprope in place or do a jog as much as I could. I actually did a video review of the first month on youtube and what to expect if you care to watch:

Thanks for the link, I'll definitely watch! From your experience, when did you start noticing a change? I'm being a little anxious 8-)0

Youll get into in during the 2nd week! First week killed, but it felt great0 -

Honestly I FELT results the first week, but every 10 days I took pictures and noticed small things changing. The biggest results I think were week 3. Week 3 for me really marked the physical change, and then week 4 was also pretty good.
Physically, week 3 was the best. I remember being able to do the end drills really nicely with great form. Obviously, still very challenging.
Concerning the scale though I lost less than 2 pounds, so dont even concern yourself with the scale, its a demotivating silly thing.0 -

Great results! I am so going to add you (if you don't mind!). I'm in week 8 and have only lost 4 lbs as well! The scale is STOO-PID! My profile pic is my results as of day 49. Obvious difference, but I still let the scale make me sad.
I have been recommending to anyone I can to take your measurements and pictures. I take pictures on every rest day; I would have stopped if I hadn't had my pics to compare!0 -
GREAT JOB!0
