A Tub of Fries

I think that I generally have a pretty good idea about the calorie content of foods, but a trip to the ballpark yesterday left me slightly in shock. Chickie & Pete's Crab Fries -- 1 tub (I would guess about a 30 oz (liquid) capacity) 2,940 calories. That is all, except for beverages, that this stand sells, although you can buy a container of cheese sauce for dipping. As close to adding pound of weight with one hand has I have been.

Oh, the sodium content is 6,630 mg!

Well, learning is what this site is all about and I'll make it up over the next couple of days, but I sure won't be back for seconds!

Crab Fries is one of the reasons I am overweight. I haven't touched one at the ballpark yet this year....and I don't plan to, either.

Where do the numbers you post come from? We usually split between four at hockey games, but tonight we split between two at the ball game
