Bruising....

So this is for all of you fitness guru's on here. I just started working out extremely hard lately(not too hard) and realized this morning after doing leg curls, adductor and abductor exercises I have brusies on my inner thighs and knees. Is this normal? I tried to find more information on this however can not seem to find anything relevant. It says to stretch before and some say after. What is right? The bad part is that I work in a gym for crying out loud and should know what's right and what's wrong. Any advise would be great. Thanks in advance

I do bruise very easily and end up with loads from the gym. It can be normal but would make an appointment with your doctor to rule out anything else.

Which one is it? Maybe you're working out too hard-the weight might be more than what you can handle. And by that I mean more your body(the bruising) than your strength. I bruise easily as well so when I do leg curls, abductor, I found I had to do less weight than I could technically handle so my body could get used to the machines. Now I don't bruise and I can do the weight I want. good luck!

    Missy,
one of two things is most likely happening. One, the weight might be heavy enough that the pads on the machine are causing bruising (seen commonly on people's shoulders who use standing calf raise machine for calf raises and heavy squats) or you may have certain vitamin deficiencies.

I am a severe anemic and b12 deficent so maybe its from that. I do work out hard but not to the point of hurting myself or passing out if that's any sense. I already take b12 injections once a month and do iron infusions when my iron levels are extremely low. I guess I will lower the weight on Friday and see if it happens. Thanks for all of your advise.
