I am looking for suggestions for your favorite fitness and or nutrition podcast. I have found 1 or 2 but would love to hear what else is out there. Thanks!

    Anybody? Anything???

    Bueller? Bueller? :)

Well, I tend towards to the low carb end of things so these appeal to me:

    Fat Burning Man
    Underground Wellness
    Rob Wolff

A new one,"The Smarter Science Of Slim' is good if you want to understand why calories might not be the first thing you want to focus on. Radical idea I know but hey ...

Fantastic! Thanks so much. I also tend to eat low carb. These are great. BTW - Fat Burning Man = awesome name! Thanks again!

    i am a podcast nut!!!!
i listen to way too many and struggle to keep up with them all.
i will list some of my favorite fitness, diet, food, and health podcasts, in no particular order.

    Marathon Training Academy
even if you aren't a runner, i think they offer great things to think about as far as mental tools and ways of thinking while exercising. also it's efficient and has

    Ben Greenfield Fitness Podcast
Ben Greenfield is an elite competitive triathlete and a super educated nutritionist. he answers many questions pertaining to endurance sports and most are pretty advanced, but i still feel like i learn a lot of useful information. and i can always skip ahead if i get bored.

The Dr. Rob Show (Dr. Rob Maki)
this one is a bit focused on a paleo type of diet, but ultimately they encourage eating healthy and following your body's nutritional intuition. maybe it's close the "The Smarter Science Of Slim" ideas?

    Endurance Planet
questions from listeners usually about endurance sports.

    Inside Out Weightloss
this one is a kind of self helpy, intuitive eating, hippy woo woo type of podcast. talks all about emotional eating and changing habits from the inside out. it's also fairly short in length compared to the others. the description there might have sounded negative i guess, but i listen to it consistently and like being reminded to address and check in with my internal emotional state.

NPR Health and NPR Food podcasts
    kinda self explanatory

OALA light a candle meeting podcast
it's a podcast for Overeaters Anonymous. it is recorded at the large LA California meeting every week and i love listening. some weeks are better than others but it's one person telling their story each week about their struggles with food and unhealthy living, and i enjoy learning from other peoples struggles and hearing about what they go through as they try to gain overall healthy. it does have a lot of 12-step lingo at times, as you might expect.

i'm gonna add "The Smarter Science Of Slim" and listen to the others that were recommended very soon i'm sure. thanks for the info!

(separately, just cuz i like them so much, other podcasts i enjoy are The Mental Illness Happy Hour and WTF with Marc Maron.)
