V, Sorry about the gym episode. I sure hope the new one is better. :flowerforyou: Oh and my post disappeared yesterday (or whenever it was) all of the sudden too. Annoying.

So far I'm being lazy today. Must get busy. I didn't sleep that great last night, but that's the way it goes some times. I need to clean house today, and hubby and I need to find something to give his parents. They don't seem to be into anything, and she has problems with textures and smells, so it makes it really difficult. I should try to get some exercise today. Does being stressed out burn more calories?I know, I can't lose weight being stressed. I know going to Walmart today won't help the stress either. :laugh:
Alex is in a great mood today and has made us laugh numerous times already. Almost every day when he goes to the bathroom he'll say, "What color is the toilet?" I shake me head and say, "It's white!" for the 20th time this week. He then says, "Okay, yes it's white." He does this all day long with different things. It doesn't sound that funny but it's really pretty cute. lol He just has such a cute little voice!

Also, I counted the days between now and the opening date for the new gym. 40 days. So, I'm aiming for 20 Bikram sessions instead of 15. I toyed with the idea of aiming for 30, but I think 20 is good. To go from once a week to every other day is good enough.

I'm up way too early. Today I'm singing in the choir and several solos at the "special music service" (the best kind of church service, with no sermon!
) followed by an afternoon club performance. No workout today, as I will be wiped out by the time I get home. Very high energy performance/sociability day. I think tonight I will perform my yearly ritual of drinking hot chocolate (my dessert for the week) while watching my DVD of "It's a Wonderful Life" and crying like a baby at the end. Last night I watched "Elf" and cried like a baby at the end. I cry at movies. I'm a delicate flower.:laugh:
My goal for today is to stay hydrated so I don't lose my voice. I have more performances/rehearsals (not counting "normal" choir rehearsals) this week than I have had the rest of the year put together.

Had a great yoga class yesterday - lots o' backbends. There were at least 5 people who could do the full dancer pose - one person almost had her top leg straight. I didn't try it. Got a short walk in as well. I'm not worn out today, so I must be getting stronger.
Today: teach yoga, eat lunch, wrap gifts, finish Christmas cards (way late - will post the kitty superhero pics on FB after the holidays, unless you guys want to send me your address, then I'll send you a card) - and hopefully have some time this evening to relax.

I was actually pretty successful with shopping yesterday. My family is almost taken care of. I still don't actually have anything in hand for my hubby, but I have some good ideas of what I'm doing. And, I did my push-ups, stretching, and avoided tiramisu.
