I am on day one and I am determinined to work at this until I feel better about my weight. I think I would like to lose 30 pounds but I am going to concentrate on 10 pounds at a time.
I am a busy married mom with 4 teenagers at home.
I've been doing hot yoga and now I am trying to run 20 minutes 3 times a week. I love walking with my dog, too.
    Good luck.

  • This is my day 2! Super excited about what the future holds. Love the motivation the MFP forums are providing. I certainly need it!
  • Hello - this is my second day (not my first time). I would really like to stick to it this time. I went over by 220 calories yesterday, still trying to figure out what to eat for breakfast and lunch. Any suggestions? Picky eater (unless I like it) and I cannot really make anything myself during the week.
  • I'm not on day 1 on here, but this is day 1 of actually using it. I created this account a while back because a coworker was using it and it seemed to be working for him, but I didn't commit myself to it. Today, I actually woke up a 5:30am and worked out (thanks to a lot of "encouragement" from my girlfriend who wouldn't let me go back to sleep). I want to cut some weight, be healthier, and actually be able to skate through an entire hockey game now with out feeling like my chest is going to explode and I'm going to pass out. It's been a year of self abuse since I got out of the army, now it's time to get back to the commitment level I had before. I would love to have some people add me as a friend on here for encouragement and ideas for diet and excersize. Best of luck to everyone!!!

  • I've had this for awhile now, but have not really been fully devoted to using it. So now I am and this is day one (: I lost about twenty pounds last year on WW but honestly the price for support and a community isn't worth it. Hoping to find a support system on here (: We can do it!

On Day 2 and found this site extremely well done. I was using weight watchers but never filled it in, so paying for nothing. This site is even better then Weight Watchers and it is free. Would like only to loose about 15lbs so will give it a try for a couple of months and see what happens.

    Day 3 for me! :)
  • Just started this morning for the first time. My doctor told me about this website a month ago but I was too lazy to try it. So here it goes! I really need to lose at least 60 pounds to get my diabetes under control.

    Day 2 for me :)
Feel free to add me as a friend, would love to find some like minded people out there :)
My biggest concern is i that i can't stop eating after dinner time.
I'm really good during the day but as soon as i have dinner - its like i'm a bottomless pit and eat everything in the cupboard that i can :(
Any ideas about how to avoid these food cravings? message me xxx

I am on Day One and looking forward to trying something new. I am a yo yo dieter so I am hoping that I will stick with this. Wish me luck and I will post my lbs loss (I hope!) each week.

    Welcome to MFP! :flowerforyou:

This is definitely not my day one. I'm almost to my one year anniversary and have had my up and downs. Like you though I just recently ended a relationship, which had lasted 3 years. Now is the time I've decided to focus on myself and what I want and to make myself happy and get healthier. Here's to us. :drinker: Feel free to add me if you'd like.

    xx

This is my 2nd day and I'm pumped about it. I have lived in a "bubble" of food for way too long. I am thrilled to have such a site that has such diversity in helping and encouraging others for their good!
    Good luck to all!

I'm on day 3....AGAIN!!! I've done the MFP thing once before and it really worked. However, I also went thru some relationship drama and made myself feel better with unhealthy diet habits. I'm back and ready to knock off this weight!!!

    Hello, all!

I am also on Day 3. I was previously on Weight Watchers and lost 20 lbs. Unfortunately, over the past 3 years, about 5 lbs of it creeped back on. I finally decided to quit WW when they changed their program, causing me to gain another 5 lbs. So far, I really like the website and mobile app and look forward to this journey.

So far, I really like the website and mobile app! If any of you out there need a motivator, add me. I am good for throat chops or gentle nudges - doesn't matter. We can do this together.

Also, for you runners out there - I just recently started running regularly again in January (I shoot for 3 times per week) so if you want to gang up and tackle that beast, I'm here for that too. ;) I've run two 8k races, have three 5k races scheduled and another 8k this fall and hope to run my first half marathon next March.

Stay strong, keep your chin up and if you screw up, who cares? Pick yourself back up and move on.
    Good luck, everyone!
