George Foreman Grill - Fat Redution?

So I made turkey burgers last night for the first time in my new GF grill.
Anyone know if it really reduces the fat...and by how much?
The turkey burger package (frozen patty) says 15g fat.
Wondering if the GF really reduces that or not.
Help please!

I think the 'fat reduction' is just that the juices run down the slope and off the grill, away from the food. I wouldn't it expect it has much more of a fat reducing effect than any cooking method where you don't consume the run-off juices. So I would just log it as 'turkey burger, cooked' or whatever is in the database. There's not a lot of fat in most turkey burgers, anyway.0

George Foreman grills are not made to reduce a certain percentage of fat or calories from a piece of meat. The grill is designed to reduce fat as much as possible and this varies every time the grill is used.

I'm going to assume that means you might have to measure/weigh, after you cook your burgers?0 -
Yes it does! How much? No way of knowing only guessing. Another good way is rinsing your meat too if you have hamburger/turkey meat. I use 73% lean however the tray on our large grill is FULL to the rim with fat after I am done with only 4 burgers (1 pound of meat) so it at least is bumping my meat to 83% possibly more. I usually track it as 83%. How much fat was in your receptacle? You can always weigh it if you were curious and see how many grams it is. Just be careful that other things are not in their too and if there is other things in their you take them into consideration.0

Didn't think to weigh it last night.
I made 6 burgers (frozen patties) and had about 4 oz of fat/water at the end (kept pouring it into a cup).
Just wondered if I could change the fat amount for the burger or not.
Sounds like not :0( Didn't realize the turkey burgers would still have 15g fat.0 -
15g of fat isn't that high. Are you on a strict low-fat diet?0
