Hi!

I recently found out about this website and thought I'd check it out. i love that there is an app for my phone so I can record everything i eat as I'm out and about so i don't forget anything. I have learned over the years that writing it down is the key for me. I have also found out that what I struggle with is eating enough calories in a day to keep my metabolism up (unless I go to a restaurant where the food is usually packed with calories).

I love hitting the gym early in the morning so I can get the workout over and done with before anything else. I dream of someday running long distances and obstacle courses, and I hope to get season passes to the ropes courses and ziplines next year...even though right now I'm an out of shape grandmother.

I love travel and just about anything to do with the arts. I like books and language and photography and interior decorating and...

My grandson and some other kids in the neighborhood call me "Honey", hence my screen name.

I've been married to the same man for 30 years and it's getting better all the time. We have three daughters who are scattered across the USA and our families are also scattered throughout the states with none of them here near us.

I hope to get to know some of you and find some advice I can use to help me with my journey.

If I can help you in some way, then I will try.

~"Honey'"

Welcome! MFP does make it pretty easy to log food and exercise, and watch out...it can become addicting! :)

The food tracker was a real eye-opener for me, too, letting me see exactly HOW that extra piece of cake, or that second sandwich at lunch was affecting me!

Best wishes to you, it sounds to me like you are going to just great here!
