Inappropriate Gym Behavior?

There is this middle aged woman at my gym that annoys the hell out of me! When she comes in she always wears these tiny, skin tight shorts (with no panties) that don't even cover her butt cheeks and then the "sports bra" that she wears would reveal her "ladies" if she raised her arms above her head. It's more like a stripper outfit than something that you should wear to the gym. Then BEFORE she works out, she goes to the locker room and applies her make-up and straightens her hair. The she gets a cup of ice "I'll explain the ice later" then she "stretches". Her stretching is more like pole dancing. Then comes the tread mill. When she gets on she starts walking in a way that makes her hair flip from side to side so if anyone is on the machines beside her they would get hit. Then after about 20 minutes she will stop walking and get a piece of ice from her cup and seductively rub it on her neck and her chest, then she (even more seductively) dries herself with a towel ( by this time i'm surprized that people are'nt stuffing dollar bills in her shorts. She will give every male in the gym the "come hither" stare, but if anyone actually aproaches her she acts offended and very rudely and publicly turns them down.:huh:

Why do people act like this at the gym? When I get off work, I go to the gym, change in to my workout clothes ( usually some sweats and a T or tank), say hi for a minute if there is someone I know, grab my ipod, hit the treadmill, then go the hell home. I don't want to be there any longer than I have to be, much less turn it into my own personal porn flick!

Do any of you have someone like this at your gym? Several people have complained about her but the gym employees said that as far as the Gym Rules & Guidlines go, she isn't doing anything wrong, therefore there's nothing they can do about it.

    there is a girl at my gym that wears a sports bra and no shirt, and that alone bothers me. for one PUT UR **** AWAY and for two when she does weights, that is just unsanitary. if i saw what you are seeing, i would def FLIP out!

    I have a gym story that my friend told me...

    She was working out on some machine and her t-shirt got caught.. Mind you, she's not so littele. Well, after about 5 min. of wrestling w/ the machine, she calmly took her shirt off and walked away like nothing happend. Meanwhile her rolls are hanging out and she's mortified, but she struts away like "yeah, I meant to take my shirt off, I'm working it...gotta problem w/ that?" I laughed soo hard when she told me. If that was me with my shirt stuck, that machine would be coming home w/ me. Haha.

    I think those who approach her are there for the wrong reason. When I am at the gym you see everyone working hard and no one trying to pick up any one! I work out on a base gym so I don't see anything too much like that, but there used to be this one lady who was actually a Doc (of all people) who would only work out in her sports bra! That did bother me.

    About the clothes, I don't wear short shorts because they would ride up my thighs, but I have brought more fitted clothes, more like a reward for my hard work. At first I would wear big baggy sweat pants and a shirt 2 sizes to big. But now I feel that I have worked to a point that I should feel more comfortable in my PT attire.

    this is a big reason why i HATED la fitness. but it was not just one person doing this, it was just about every girl around my age. it shocked me and when i muttered that they needed to respect themselves and the real peiople working out around them "they like omigod got like offended for sure" Of course i didnt say it so nicely:explode: I hate when people do this and sadly its almost always a woman, but think of itthis way she must truly hate herself to act this way. its always insecurity i think cause they just desparetely want some sort of gratification to knowthey bare 'wanted". Its sad I think and borbdering on the fact that feminuism never happened, but id flip as well cause its a pet peeve of mine!!!

    That's why I love my gym. People are generally pretty serious. Mainly, it's the elderly crowd that socializes, but they manage to keep their clothes on. There was a mom who had her boy of 8 or so in the women's whirlpool that's located in the locker room, but the staff handled it.

    I'm lucky. I go to a total woman gym. Only ladies allowed. And we're not all strutting around trying to impress each other. It feels more like a "safe" environment where you don't have to think about men looking at you while you're working, or care what you look like (and by this i mean how disgusting).. however, in the looker room some of the ladies are so comfortable they just walk around totally naked. is it like this at other gyms? it always weirds me out. even in the sauna i still wear a bathing suit.. maybe im just a prude!!

    WOOOOW Thats just not ok! A club? More like the beach!.... and yes arynn I go to 24 hr fitness which is a big chain gym and the women walk around naked, some even get ready in their underwear, I always shower at home so I don't see it much but I pretty much see it every time I go in there, its pretty normal apparently...

    When I was in college I would workout in a sweatshirt and workout pants and these girls would come in in skimpy outfits maybe do a workout for 10 min walk around and leave.!!! It blows my mind.

    What kills me is when people wear perfume or cologne to the gym. I've had to leave a couple time because I couldn't breathe. :sick:

    lol...out of all the things you described about this woman...I think the fe-mullet is the MAJOR VIOLATION! LOL - TOO FUNNY!

    I'd rather it be the people, than the gym itself with the time release sprays. The gym here has them set up right by the fans so the smell goes everywhere. It literally takes my breathe away and messes me up everytime. I try my best to avoid being near the fans when I am running now for two reasons: the spray and the cold air blowing on me.
