Workout = Me Time

Anyone else feel the same way? I don't particularly like working out with other people or having workout buddies (friends, family, SO, etc.) because I consider my time at the gym "me time". I also like to stick to my routine and having others messes that up or they want to do something else entirely.

That's my useless post for the day haha

    It depends on the day and what I'm doing.

    For deadlifts and overhead (lifts that don't require a spotter) I prefer to lift alone so I can lift at my pace, and be focused.
    For squats and bench I like having a spotter.

    But I get what you're saying, I like to keep to myself and not be distracted by other people talking.

    When I hit the gym it is total ***ME*** time. I don't go to socialize. I get to workout at my pace and do my favorite exercise. I do not listen to music or read on the treadmill. I focus on me. Internal and external. I review. I think. I ponder. And when I leave the gym I feel great!
