How many times/how often do you eat?

I'd like to get to only 3 meals a day, with a small afternoon snack if needed. I find if I eat enough at each meal, that I am thinking about food less than if I eat every 2-3 hours. My calorie goal is 1600 so eating about 500 3x a day is reasonable I think.
I find if I eat 6 times a day, as soon as I finish 1 small snack, I'm already waiting for the next one.

I try and do it every 3 hours.0

I eat 3 meals (big breakfast, decent lunch, big dinner... I know ideally it's big breakfast, decent lunch, small dinner, but that way I don't snack all night), and eat a mid-morning snack (usually fruit) and sometimes a mid-afternoon snack. If I don't have those snacks I'm miserable and I overeat at meals!
Maybe you should eat bigger snacks, then? Also start with a big ol' breakfast! That helps me a lot, otherwise I feel like I'm always hungry (and I hate being hungry...)0 -
I eat every 2.5 - 3 hours, so that's usually 6 times a day. It works for me to have each of my 6 meals approximately the same size. I get way too hungry if I go 5 hours between meals and then I end up making poor food choices.0

I did a big breakfast this morning to see if that would help
I had a bowl of overnight oats with 3/4 cup milk and 1/2 cup blueberries. Also had 3 eggs with salt and pepper. Total was 560 cals I believe. Was kind of uncomfortably full after that which I'm not used to, but didn't eat lunch til 12:30 so I guess it worked
Although I'm usually more hungry in the afternoon than morning so I think I'll work on big, filling lunch ideas.

Sometimes 3, 4, 5 or 6 times a day. 3 proper meals which can be around 600 to 700 calories and 1 to 3 snacks which are from 100 to 300 calories each.0

I no longer PICK at foods, as in like a random bag of chips, or like when someone offers a single bite... I do not do that, it tends to add up.
I eat at least 3 full meals, and if I am hungry in between if it is not a protein bar or something, it is a good sized sandwich.

I have a coffee from starbucks as prebreakfast at six am . Then my breakfast wich is also dinner just before 11 am , then I have tea about 4pm . So one full meal , a big drink , and a light tea . School hours are horible things that give me little and un appropriate times to eat !0
