I would say I'd do it but knowing me, as soon as I do, I will go out and eat some chocolate right after. *Covers face* I am ashamed.

I'll join you! Chocolate is a massive weak spot for me, particularly when I go out!

No, never. I will not deny myself anything, for anyone, at any time. Smaller portions or just saying no occasionally? Sure!

    Good luck though!

Is there a group that is the EXACT opposite than this, I'll join that one. I tried it a little over a year ago and have found that just giving up chocolate did do what I was hoping. I have to periodically detox from all sugar to get my cravings under control, but I find I never need to go more than 2 weeks.

Nope, I eat dark chocolate on purpose for the health benefits. I do however limit myself to only one or two pieces a day when I have it. I don't have any right now but when I go to the store I will buy about 4 or 5 big bars. Sorry I can't join you, well, wait, not really sorry but still can't join you. I wish you well though. Add me as a friend if you like and I will try to help you reach your goals. I haven't been very active lately other than a few posts and logging my food and exercise. I have been moving to a new place and that has taken up most of my spare time. Enough for now!!! Be blessed in your efforts!

Oh and I also heard that we are running out of chocolate.. in a couple years it might be hard to get chocolate like we so easily can now.. so I say, get your chocolate on! lol

I think it's fine to have chocolate in moderation, especially dark chocolate. I don't believe in depriving yourself of something that you want-- that normally leads to a binge. I think cutting back would be fine, and if you're comfortable you can cut it out. Otherwise, if it's something you're craving, endulge a little.

I'm not giving up chocolate, but I'm giving up beer for a few weeks. Tough for a guy who loves it so much he writes a beer column!

I don't eat that much chocolate, but good luck with your plan ;-)
