I've been riding my beach cruiser all over town for the last 4 months or so. I was concerned about being made fun of so I always made sure to take along my iPod and ear buds to drown out and hecklers. I'm alright with the idea of people yelling rude things at me as long as I can't hear it. LOL!

Recently I broke my iPod and I've been very paranoid while riding, and sure enough today I heard a man shout from across the street, "HEY, BABY! I WANT A RIDE!!!"

Not what I expected, but I'll take it and chalk that one up to an NSV!

    btw, how do you like the cruiser? Does it have speeds? What model? We are looking to get bikes and hubby said we need speeds but i want something that looks good LOL

    I <3 my bike. It does cannot change gears, but it's comfortable. I have a huffy that came with the rack, basket and even a cup holder. LOL! While I do love it, I am planning on buying myself a street model when I reach 100lbs lost. I want to be able to go faster and really get a good burn in when I ride.
