First time cooking/eating lentils

I bought a bag of green lentils. I plan on making them for dinner but I don't know what exactly to add to them or how to cook them. What are some good, easy lentil recipes that only involve a few ingredients?

I can't help you with a quick method. I do mine in the crockpot with rice and taco seasoning!!!
