Losing implies finding

Ya know, I've been thinking and I don't like the terminology that I've "lost" weight. Typically, when you lose something, you want to find it again. I never want to find this weight again. I haven't lost 24lbs, I've thrown away 24lbs - never to bee seen again (hopefully).

Agreed, I think of it as cleaning house and gaining health.0 -

I like that that too! Maybe my subconscious won't try to find the weight I "lost" if I say I did some spring cleaning and threw it out! hahaha 0
