We are ALL beautiful it's time to love ourselves!

From 12 years old to about 25 years old I struggled with body image and hated my body. I would wish this was different, or that was different, or say things like "I wish I was as skinny as her". I wanted to look like the people I saw on tv, and in magazines.
We are all unique. No matter if we are thin, or big, we should love ourselves for who we are and be comfortable in our own skin. If you are overweight - then let's just eat healthy and be active.
Let's stop fueling the weight loss industry that are advertising the "get thin quick" scam to us all - at the expensive of our own health. Stop the magic pills, shakes, etc...
Let's teach the children around us how to have good body image and love ourselves. I know I'm going to do my best to be sure to never say things like "I wish I was skinnier" or "I hate being fat" etc...in front of my kids. I will strive to make sure they know what it is to eat healthy, be healthy, live a healthy life without using words like losing weight or diet, etc...Let's break this cycle of horrible body image. Together, we can possibly get rid of horrible disease like anorexia. Let's give it a shot ~ we have nothing to lose and everything to gain

I so admire your determination and commitment to making this a lifetime choice, not as you say, a 'diet'. We both know how difficult this journey is, and will continue to be, yet you never lose faith that success is the only conclusion.
More people should think like that and set the goals that not only lead them onto a healthy path, but pass down that positive message to their children and their peers; as you are obviously passionate about doing.
You are an inspiration and I am proud to have you a part of my personal journey x0
