I had an allograft ACL reconstruction may 10. Off crutches may 19 and out of the leg brace on may 22. I have full ROM and weight bearing. I cannot jump or run yet...still strengthening.
I do p.t. in center once a week for an hour and on my own daily at home.
Here's my question ....
Does PT count as exercise?

Heck yes it does! As a PT student about to graduate, I say YES! And asking your PT about other safe exercises for you with your fitness and diet goals in mind can be a big help
good luck with your rehab!!

Sure it does.... any time you are moving you are burning extra calories.
How MANY calories depends on how much physical activity you are doing - I'm guessing at this stage you aren't burning a lot of cals because you won't be moving too far or too fast, but that will change as you recover0
