I am 5' 8" and my goal weight is 120 lbs, Is that a healthy goal for my height?

Put it in a BMI calculator and see what it says. I think it sounds a little low as I am 5' 2" and I am not even aiming that low. But the calculator may say that is ok.

Sounds on the low side to me, but there isn't One True Answer. Why did you choose that number?

It gives BMI reading 1.8 "Unhealthy", take heed. good luck in gaining some lbs...

    :drinker:
  • At one point I was struggling with an eating disorder, I got down to 105 lbs and I still thot I was huge :( Im a little better now so I thot maybe somewhere between would be a good goal for me.

    I'm no expert but I think it's too low. I'm 5' 5" and aiming for 126.

Don't forget, it's not all about numbers - it's how you look and feel too!
  • But to me I was starting to get happy with how i looked at 105 lbs but everyone else said I looked sick. Looking back at the pictures of last summer I looked HORRIBLE. and I relize that now but my body image is still distorted
