Recommended HRM?

I have seen polar talked about as the best hrm with calorie burnt function, but I am confused as to which one I need for the calories burnt function.
What is the cheapest version that has an accurate calories burnt function as well as hrm?

I just got my Polar ft4 in the mail yesterday, and I'm in love. Used it for my workout this morning and really enjoyed it. I got it off amazon for about 60, some other websites have it priced lower but I'm a prime member and got faster shipping through amazon. Whatever you do don't buy from a store unless you have a great coupon, prices are jacked up ridiculously! hope this helps and good luck0

When I started researching HRMs, I decided the Polar FT4 was the best for my needs. I take group fitness classes and wanted to know how many calories I burned. Some HRMs have fancier functions, but I didn't need those. The FT4 will tell you how many minutes you worked out (clock with minutes and seconds), your heart rate and if you're in the fat burning zone, the actual time, and how many calories you burned. There's also a few charts in there of your workouts, but I haven't peeked at those too much. It has a chest strap, so the calories burned is accurate. It's comfortable and adjustable. I paid $75 for mine on Amazon with free shipping and don't regret a single penny!0

I was going the same research last week. I also went for the FT4 from Amazon and I love it! It's much better than my old one. It even knows to put the light on when you press the buttons in the dark!! (Don't ask me how I discovered this....)!0

I recently got a Polar FT7 and LOVE it! I have looked into a lot of different ones and love the one I picked! I got it at a great deal too as a fitness store by me was closing down and had them for 50% off! $160 HRM with chest strap and I only paid $90 and change with taxes. Such a great tool!
Ensure you get one with a chest strap as well as one that allows you to put in your age, sex, height and weight which will give you the most accurate burned figures.0 -

rcvd this afternoon; worn it all day to see what i burn on a sit down job. wore it during my insanity pure cardio workout. that workout is a killer. i'm trying to make myself down my egg powder protein shake. it's the chocolate flavor, but it's not real chocolate so it basically sucks, lol! cals burned today makes it all worth it.0 -
I loved my FT4 (most basic polar hrm) and I just recently upgraded to the FT60. I highly recommend the hrm's! it helps me make sure I am in my zone and I don't have to stop and put my hands on the bars of the cardio machines. Good luck0
