Sports Bra Advice???

BobbieJeanDietQueen

I am a full figured woman and am looking for a sports bra that will enable me to run without knocking the breath out of me or ending up with black eyes! Does anyone have a recommendation for a D + sports bra that minimizes or eliminates the bounce?

I'm a 34E and I've got a nike high impact sports bra and its great! I got it in a medium so its quite tight and it keeps them firmly in place!

I learned from someone on the message boards to wear my wacoal underwire sports bra for low impact and for high impact a small tight fitting nike sports bra over it. Wearing both bras makes a big difference and jumping jacks and running is a breeze!

I would definitely recommend the Marika line of sportswear. They are amazing. I never would have thought a sports bra with underwire could be comfortable (and as a 42C, that is definitely a bonus!).

Enell bras get really good reviews ..... I don't have any personal experience (I'm too little).

Try on & TEST it out if possible. Some bras labled "high impact" are not! I tried one on at Kohl's last month - did a little jumping up & down - what a crock! Not high impact at all.

I'm a 42DDD and I love my Enell Sports bra. The girls stay put even while doing jumping jacks. :D

    i swear by shock absorbers.
they hold my D/E cups nicely in place!
  • Thanks! I think I'll give the Enell bra a try. I am not ready to start running yet, but know from experience that once I get there I won't stick to it unless I can find a way to control these babies!
