Monthly Goals?

I've never set any monthly goals before and was wondering what some good goals to set would be?

    Lose 4 lbs
Increase [such and such] a lift by [x amount] pounds
    Run [this much] faster
    Run [this much] further
Hit my calorie target within +/- 100 calories 6 days a week
    Sleep 8 hours every night

    spot on.

simple goals like this are great for keeping you on track and allowing you to look back and see that you've progressed each and every month.

    Drink all the water.

Exercise five or six days a week. Increase time.

    Log all your food.

If your trying to lose 2lbs a week....monthly goal is 8lbs, that way you don't have to worry about it if you don't hit the weekly goal. If you were to walk/jog/run...set a monthly mile like 30 miles a month. Or try to get in so many hours of cardio, lifting, areobics...whatever workout you do. I try to focus more on short goals, because I am impatient and feel like crap when I don't see results. But monthly goals are good ways to keep you going. :)

Yup, All fab suggestions...... I find a few small simple goals best, otherwise I confuse myself.... Not that that's too difficult! ;)
