It's recently ben suggested that I try to go dairy free for a month and see how I feel. I'm not lactose intolerant, but there is a big belief that dairy isn't great for our bodies. Anyone choose to go dairy free? Did you notice/ feel any changes?

I did a cleanse of sorts earlier this year and cut out dairy for a week - I noticed that I usually eat a LOT of dairy products. It was definitely harder than I thought, but I didn't notice any huge changes.

I am lactose intolerant and I noticed that when I went off dairy my skin became a lot clearer and more radiant. This isn't a sign of lactose intolerance, but it did happen when I stopped eating dairy.

Obviously I also got a lot more energy and felt sick less, but that is because I stopped eating something I was intolerant too.

Also, just think about the fact that drinking milk is in no way natural to us. We're supposed to stop drinking milk as children and definitely aren't supposed to drink another animal's milk.

I gave up all dairy for Lent earlier this year... man, was that hard! I grew up with a moderate lactose intolerance, which now only shows up when I eat stuff like alfredo sauce. I felt less mucus-y without dairy, if that makes any sense. I did go back to eating dairy, but I don't tend to eat a ton of it any more since I switched to soymilk, organic yogurts, and rennet-free cheeses.

I am severly lactose intolerant. That said I see a huge difference. I don't hurt any more and I just feel like I have energy all the time now!
