EAS Soy Protein! I drink it after working out and it's actually tasty!

    http://eas.com/product/soy-protein-powder

It says have it 1-3 times a day depending on need, but I just use it as a recovery shake.

ETA- I found it at WalMart.

As a busy Mom, I go for quick and easy.

Premier Protein Shakes available at Costco (24.99). 30 grams of protein, 1 gram of sugar, 4 carbs and only 160 calories.

These are seriously a life saver for me!

    I swear by these shakes!

I'm going to Costco today and will look for these. How is the taste?

I love these in both the chocolate and vanilla!

Cake Batter Shake (from a fellow MFP pal)

1/2 cup low fat cottage cheese
1 scoop vanilla whey protein powder
3-5 drops butter or almond extract
1 tsb vanilla sugar free instant pudding mix OR 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
3-5 packs of sweetener of choice (we use Meijer's generic for splenda)
    1 cup water
    10 ice cubes

    Blend until creamy.

*We didn't have the butter/almond extract so I left it out completely. It's pretty good.
  • Do people use these as a meal replacement or as a snack? I'm trying to have 25 percent of my calories from protein which I've only been able to do by going over my fat allotment AND/OR getting hungry.

2 scoops of AMP Amplified Wheybolic Extreme protein powder (chocolate)
    1 tbsp almond butter
    1/2 medium banana

This will be enough calories to serve as a meal.
    Thank me later.

I'm new to these protein shakes, too. I'm using Pure Protein Whey Powder in frosty chocolate (from Walmart) mixed with 8-12 oz of skim milk. I mix it in a shaker cup and drink it for my breakfast. This is the only thing I've found that actually sticks with me until almost lunch time.

Somoa Shake (tastes like those somoa girl scout cookies.

    1 scoop vanilla protein powder
1/2 cup small curd low fat cottage cheese
    1/2 - 1 cup water
    1/4 tsp coconut extract
    1/8 tsp caramel extract
2-4 packets sweetner (I don't use any but some do)
2 tbs sugar free instant chocolate puding mix
    3-5 ice cubes

Just blend it all together. Super yummy!

If this taste as good as you say you have truly made me one happy woman! I loved these cookies but they are filled with hydrogenated oil, fat, and taste good feel bad stuff. How many calories does this come out to?
