Hiya. Hubs & I have also decided to try for baby #2 and though I am super excited, I'm also super nervous. I struggled to lose the weight I gained from baby #1 and only started to lose a year after she was born. I hit goal 4 months ago and it feels so amazing to finally have the weight off, that the thought of gaining all that weight again makes me panic a bit. I want to just be excited about the idea of another baby, but I cannot face gaining weight again. I'm hoping that this time round will be better as I plan to keep a lot more active and track my food here. First time round I exercised 2 - 4 times a week up to 34 weeks, but it was extremely low impact. I was told I couldn't raise my heart rate over 149, and well, that's not very much for me (usually hit around 165 on average). I have now read that you can keep up most of what you were doing before, and I will hopefully be able to do that.
Good luck to you! Hopefully we'll both have good news soon enough0 -

Hello! I'm 12 weeks pregnant with my second child and counting calories to help me stay on track with my weight gain. My son was only 7 months when we became pregnant for the second time, and I had just started to lose the baby weight from my first pregnancy. Weight loss is not even at any place in my mind, but I do want my inevitable weight gain to be controlled, for the safety of my baby and for my own stamina! I'd love to hear from anyone else who is in a similar situation!

I am almost 26 weeks pregnant with #2. My daughter is 10 months, and my babies will be 13 months apart. I was very disciplined after I had my daughter, I immediately went back to Weight Watchers, breastfed, and did Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred and Tracy Anderson's Postpartum workout as soon as the doctor gave me the okay. After two weeks, I knew I needed something more challenging, so I started Insanity. I was 25 lbs. under pre-pregnancy weight by the time I finished and in better shape than I had been in years. I was 10-15 lbs. from my goal weight when I found out I was pregnant again. With my first pregnancy, I gained 22 lbs. total. At 26 weeks, I am up 32 lbs already. I decided to track my calories just to be aware of how much I am consuming. Already, I can see I am eating way more than I thought. Also, I feel like I just got my workout rhythm back and am starting to feel more energized and also happier with myself because of all the exercise I'm doing. Good luck to you!0

I lost 10kg during my second pregnancy on mp. As per my doctor I used the calorie amount he suggested and tracked my meals to make sure I stuck to it.0
