Getting Back on Track!

I made use of myfitnesspal starting about 2 years ago and had great success - I lost around 30 pounds and found a way to enjoy balance in the world of food & fitness.
Recently, I have "fallen off the wagon" so-to-speak and have lost some of my motivation and positive outlook. I know that getting
back on track with myfitnesspal will not only help in my goal of losing the weight that has crept back on but I am also hoping that by making use of the community online and through these forums, I will find the motivation and positive outlook I had before!
Please feel free to add me as a friend and/or offer any advice you have on getting back on board!
THANK YOU!

I also am getting back on track! Last time I was on a scale was March 12th when I left for a tropical vacation that I had lost over 40 lbs for! Well this past Monday I started back on track and finally got on the scale today. I am 26.3 lbs heavier than I was March 12th so I hope weighing myself is motivation to stay back on track now that I see the damage.
I will add you as a friend, I have had so many awesome friends on here that have helped me0 -
This is me ^^^^^ I just cant stop eating badly despite doing so well, for so long....
I will add you as a friend. We WILL get back on track together!0 -
I got off track last October after losing about 60 pounds in just over a year. After the holidays passed, I had gained around 10 pounds. What helped me to get back on track was having a goal. I realize that is what kept me consistently tracking and working out. So in January 2012, I started a 16-week weight training program. After that was done, I hired a virtual trainer (The Get In Shape Girl - google her, she's awesome). I set a goal to do the Warrior Dash in Maryland in May, so I spent a few months training for that. Once that was done, I started training for a 10K. After my 10K, I may do something else like Insanity.
I think my issue is that my main focus was superficial. Not that there's anything wrong with wanting to look hot. It helped me stay focused because let's face it-- we all want to look our best. But once summer was over and I started layering on more clothes, there was slightly less incentive to work quite AS hard. Strength goals benefit your inner AND outer badass.
Bottom line, think of some fitness goals you would like to reach, break them down into smaller steps, and train like a motha. I still struggle with tracking because it's tedious. But then I remind myself that I'm still 15-20 pounds away from my weight goal. I'm aiming for the 150s (I'm 5'7 ish).0 -
I made a major move across the country almost two years ago and lost all motivation and ability to exercise... moving from flat Oregon to hilly pa. I kept track of my eating for about nine more months then got frustrated because the last bit of weight was coming off so slow. I decided to go on a ten day water fast and lost twenty pounds!!!!! HUGE mistake!!!! I gained all of my weight back in a matter of months and then I quit smoking. I gained thirty more pounds so then I was up a total of fifty pounds. I goy scared and started smoking again but it didn't curb my appetite I contito gain till I hit 200 again now I'm seventy one pounds more than my goal weight and I'm back on here!!! God I hope this works again!!! I'm trying to loose so I can get bariatric surgery but I just want to be healthy. I am walking again but want to do another 5 k in the spring. Think that's long enough to prepare myself. Looking for support!!!I got off track last October after losing about 60 pounds in just over a year.
