Guys or gals?

Can I choose neither? Can I work alone? LOL
Men never clean the bathroom, ick!
This is a STRONG downside to the mostly male environment, I will happily concede.0 -
I really have no gender preference. I do have a few requirements if you want to get along as co-workers.
1. Show up on time.
2. Do your job in a competent manner.
3. Do not come into my office to talk about things non-work related. I don't have the time and neither should you.
4. Do not call me to tell me you sent me an email.
5. Do not tell me something of yours priority. I decide that, not you.
6. Most importantly - never, ever, ever turn on the lights to my office. Yes, I work in the dark. No, I'm not a vampire.
Abide by those 6 requirements, male or female, and we'll get along just fine and you may just have a future here.
I fully support 1-5 and will support 6 also but just because that's yo bidness, not they bidness...0 -

I'd rather work with men. Women, in my experience, equal too much drama. My current co-worker is female and is constantly talking about how hard it is with her son. It drives me up a wall. Give me a guy any day.0

I clearly don't explore the world of GIFs enough.0 -
guys.
women in sales are *****ES. Not always, but usually.0 -
I like working with guys, I work in food manufacturing and it is a male dominated field. However, the chicks that have made it here are pretty hard core and bad *kitten* so we all get along pretty well!0
-
Men - not as much drama or backstabbing IMHO.0
-
Being that I have only worked for men and now newly introduced into the female boss world I would prefer a male. We all need a little testosterone in the room as much as we may not want to admit it! :P Too much drama, then again everyone is different! I do love my boss though she is awesome!0

Dudes. Chicks are catty and then we get that whole "shark week at the same time thing".... not cool.
That's funny, because the majority of chicks I've worked with have nevee been catty, and I've met plenty of dudes that can be catty, as well.0 -
when I used to work, I just wanted to work with people that actually WORKED.
I never understood who really had time to chit-chat....it's bust *kitten* then go home. there is ALWAYS something to do so shut the hell up and do it.0 -
Hard to say because:
1. All the horrible moments I've had working were caused by woman coworkers.
2. Some of the nicest coworkers I've had we're women.
3. When you work with men you really enjoy, the sexual tension is there and you don't want to deal with that level of temptation.
Right now it's a non-issue. I work with my kids and I really enjoy that most days.0 -

I have never had that problem with any of the men I've worked with. Women, yes. Men, no.0 -
I don't prefer a certain gender I just enjoy good personalities. My favorite personalities are people that are REAL and that I can be myself around. Sometimes it's men somtimes it's women. The people I like the most are the people who actually know me and still like me I certainly make decisions that other people wouldn't agree with (I smoke ganja) so it's hard for me to be myself. Once I am comfortable with somebody it takes a lot for me to not like them. Like I said though, gender is not a factor. All the things you listed that you did "with the guys" I can think of a couple of girlfrands who would love to do those things too.0

BS! I clean the bathroom all time!0 -
When I worked in porn movies I definitely preferred to work with women.
Now I have a normal job and just prefer to be around pleasant well mannered people of either gender.0 -

I don't know if this is a joke or not but I had tears shooting out of my face like a cartoon I was laughing so hard!0 -
I don't have a preference. I can get along with anybody, but I can only open up to certain people after I get to know them a little. And it really just depends on a person's personality whether I'm going to be comfortable around them or not... man or woman, it makes no difference.0
-
It really depends on the person. There have been females that I've hated working with and males that I've hated working with.
My current department is mostly female, only two guys. I enjoy working with them all.0 -
Guy if there's only one. If there's more than one, the male ego comes out and there's a lot of intimidation between them. Which is annoying and I'll take the ladies over that any day.0

Yeah, my poor wife has had to put up with that sense of humor for over 26 years :bigsmile:0 -
And a red stapler! Need one of those!
Drop that zero and get with this hero and you will be SHOWERED with red staplers...
I am compelled to state for the record that I do in fact, have one red Swingline stapeler0 -
Umm... difficult to answer.
I do however, prefer half and half.
Like at work, Victoria's Secret is 99% women.
But hey, I am not complaining because we have A interest!!0
