Hi! Back on the wagon (again)
I wouldn't say I'm a yo-yo dieter, because I've been heavy most of my life. I once lost 60 pounds on WW, but then gained it all back over a course of time. Had some minor set backs with health and am just feeling crappy. I like to say menopause and the pandemic have not been kind to me since I have a job where I sit all…

Returning newbie
Hello! I am excited to start my fitness journey, again. I have previously been a WW member and did well. I returned to it in 2020 only to find out that it didn’t work for me this time. I’ve been off track for a long while and my weight and health has spiraled out of control. I remembered using MFP a few years ago and…

Hey, everyone! I'm Jeffrey. I'm new to MFP. Discovered it through the Garmin Connect app. Fitness is my favorite journey. Diet, however, is not. I'm trying to gain weight. I'm 5'11". I started at 130lb. After my 1st year, I'm at 150lb. My end goal is to hit 175lb. I lift & run 5-6x/week. I hit a plateau, so I started…

Starting a new journey - Couch to Marathon
In 2013, I lost my wife aged just 21 to Ovarian Cancer. She was a professional footballer, and we were both in great shape. That year I ran the Great Manchester Run - 10k without any specific training. Fast forward 9 years, and life has hit me in the midriff. Working to provide for our 2 children meant things like…

Tracking Macros
I'm 52. Doing fitness freestyle but like to track macros to get back that abs. Doing resistance training for many years. Incorporating the 10K steps a while back and using this app to get the caloric deficit. Interestingly, I have that deficit but not really losing the amount of fat as expected. Guess there is more than…

Tips for those with PCOS
I find doing light workouts work best for me.
