Looking for friends and motivation to reach my goals :)
Hi :) I’m new to MFP, and am looking to lose weight. In previous attempts, I’ve lacked motivation and friends, and stopped after about a month or two. If anyone is in a similar situation, I’d love to chat :) it could really help me, and probably you too, lol. I don’t care about age or gender or anything, just a way to keep…

Time to Lose the COVID-19(lbs)
Or is it 30?!? :o Prior to COVID hitting the U.S., I was working out with a personal trainer twice a week, teaching yoga class one evening a week, and had a pretty healthy nutrition plan. I admit, in spring '20, I enjoyed taking what I thought was going to be a short break from all of that! I never thought it would…

Hello from Papa1276
I came back to Keto after being away for a while. When covid hit I fell off the wagon and started eating carbs again. January 1st of 2022 I started MyFitnessPal prior to that I was doing Atkins which was good, until they changed their site and made it more confusing to navigate. I have used MyFitnessPal in the past and…

I need a support group, or something
I want to workout consistently and for a while I was. I would do some form of workout for at least 10 minutes each day, whether it’s a full workout or active recovery. But recently, I’ll make it two days of the bare minimum and then be really inactive on the third (and sometimes fourth) day. And then the cycle repeats. I…

Back to KETO and IF
Hi, I am a female in my mid-'50s with some chronic underlying conditions, Fibromyalgia, CFS/ME, PoTs and histamine and salicylate intolerances, this restricts what I can eat. I had been doing quite well on healthy KETO and IF for the last 6 weeks or so, my bloating went down and I lost 10lbs. Then last week I blew it, I…

Hi. I'm Kathleen. I've always struggled with my weight. I weighed 142# in 1981 when I married at age 22. (I thought I was fat then - ha! What I'd give to be in that place again. :o ) 15 years later I was at 200#. In 2001, I lost down to 172 and stayed there for a couple of years. 11 years ago, my life got crazy with life…

May or may not have hit a plateau.
My weight kinda keeps bouncing up and down a few pounds every day. I'm so close to getting below 200 lbs, but it'll go up the next day 😫 I was like 202 pounds a day or two ago and today the scale said 205. Been bouncing back and forth between that range since Thanksgiving. I don't know if it's muscle from working out or…

If you’re eating less than 1500 calories, you’re not healthy.
Unpopular opinion from a former ED patient, but an average teen/young adult needs at least 2300 calories. Once you become and adult, that number only gets a couple hundred calories lower. I get that people have different metabolisms, but if you’re intuitively eating (eating when you’re hungry, stopping when you’re full)…
