These last 10 pounds are the worst
I'm the proud mother of a happy and healthy 5 month old girl. I've lost all but 10 lbs of my pregnancy weight. I have never had such a hard time losing a small amount before. Are there any other new moms out there that can relate? Perhaps some moms with more knowledge of how to get a handle on this? Thanks in advance for…

Need friends :)
Hi! I have started MFP about a week or so ago and have been struggling with it. I don't have much to lose (5-10lbs), and I am a small person (5'2). I am very active and I love to run. It's amazing how only 5lbs can slow you down when you are trying get a personal best at a 5k. I have 2 kids and was at my "ideal" weight…

boobies
This is a little embarrassing- but I have to ask. Is anyone else... umm, a little well endowed? If so, are you worried about boobs getting like a little saggy when the weight comes off? How is the elasticity as far as that goes?

HRM accurate
I recently purchased a Polar HRM and I am amazed at how HIGH it is estimating my calorie expenditure. As a 5'1'' female with 18 BMI, I always thought my expendenture was MUCH lower than people of average height. It says I burned 500 calories walking 6 miles and 800 calories playing three hours of tennis (doubles). Is this…

Do you feel like to have to work harder?
I know as the weight comes off you have to work harder to keep burning the same number of calories, because you have less weight to move. Anyone feel like they have to work harder now to lose the last couple pounds then you did to lose the first ones?

Question
Ok, last night was kind of a cheat day for me, and today so far i've gone for a run. How bad would it be- really- to fast for today? Or would it not be helpful? Thanks, any input is welcomed!

I'm 5'2" and 117.6 lbs, which I know is within my healthy weight range. However, I have put on half a stone since my relationship breakdown:brokenheart: this time last year & I am trying to lose it again, both because I feel better that little bit lighter & the fact I have some lovely new clothes which are currently just…

Wow! Great workout!
I consider myself an intermediate to advanced exerciser. I run 20 miles a week plus some strength training. I bought a few new workout dvds to switch things up and break the plateau I've been stuck on...Amy Dixon's Breathless Body is fantastic! It killed me and left me dripping in sweat-like I'd just run 5 miles at 7mph…

Going to try upping calories, anymore tips and tricks?
Hi! I'm Rachel and I'm a couple weeks new to this site. I'm 5'9 and weigh 150 (which is a healthy weight, I know but I'd like to lose some body fat). When I first started with this site they put me on the 1200 calorie plan. Then I read in several message boards that 1200 cals stunts your weight loss, and that it would be a…

Hello!
This is a fabulous group. I hate people's "You don't need to lose weight" kneejerk reaction simply because I watch what I eat and exercise regularly. I watch what I eat and exercise regularly because I want to be strong and healthy! I'm a vegetarian and I love running, dancing, lifting, and HIIT. Some of my personal…

Advice needed on an oversensitive body
I just did a 7 day fast because I wasn't mentally ready to handle solid food (I have a restrictive ED but have bouts of purging), and it helped me to focus so much more on finding fun ways to eat only heatlhy foods, but tbh, the 10+ pounds I lost during the fast are probably going to come right back. I've fasted before and…

Another fabulous breakfast option
I made this in muffin tins so they are already individually portioned. Two of them makes a fabulous and low-cal snack with good protein. Mix in or top with anything you want - berries, nuts, coconut, chocolate chips. All are delicious. I also added a bunch of other spices (ground ginger, cloves and nutmeg) to give it a…

Stay away from smith machines!
This article says it all. I just thought I would post it since I see a lot of people mistakenly using them (I definitely used to!) http://stronglifts.com/smith-machine-squats-power-rack-free-weights/ If you gym only has smith machine squat racks then do what I do: take an olympic bar from another part of the gym ( the…

Non Stimulant Fat Burner Inquiries
I have been focusing on getting my body fat % down to 20. Before starting to watch my calories a month and a half ago (I have always done strength training and cardio in my routine), I started at 134 lb with 27.5% body fat. Since then I have gone down to 124 and 25% body fat. I am pleased with the results so far, and am…

Have you heard of this?
I don't think that I posted these in the past, but then, I may have. Has anyone heard of the book "Lose 10 Pounds in 2 Weeks" ? It isn't about losing quickly, just how to do it in a healthy way. They are saying that if you follow their advice then you could possibly lose 10 pounds in 2 weeks. I am all for this IF it is…
