I do both as well. Running is my main focus though. For weights I lift 5 times a week but only a few different exercises each day and not a lot of weight. Still have managed to recomp quite well compared to where I was at a few yrs ago.

Are you entering your weight/age etc on the cardio machine? I find at least for running that MFP and treadmill is pretty close. But for example today's run said 880 on treadmill, 830 on MFP, and 607 according to my Garmin watch with the HRM connected. I use the watch value for logging to MFP.

I'd be getting a footpod if you do treadmill a lot of the time and your device will work with it. Also use the indoor or treadmill activity so it shuts off the GPS while indoors.

Check out treadmill doctor website. Lots of reviews. I've been researching treadmills a lot lately and could probably give some suggestions to consider. What is your price range? And will you be doing mostly walking, slow jogging or fast running?

Yeah in Canada it's probably around that. I keep it simple. Just unpack the entire pack of breaststroke into a dish and bake in oven with some no salt seasoning. Have no problem just munching on those.

Of course I do. This thread is more around hearing how many grams of chicken per day most people eat as a prime protein source. Not sure if it was out of the ordinary at my planned intake. Appears I'm not.

Try and find a real grocery store and pickup some healthy snacks. I now bring a lot of food with me that are staples so just dinner and the odd snack like chips or desert is outside the norm. It's quite hard to eat healthy on the road otherwise.

I haven't played for five years but am in the best shape I've ever been. However it'd be the coordination of stick handling and shooting that I'd have the toughest time with. Might be worth doing some practice there.

Running or really brisk walking. Love insanity too but using a heart rate monitor with insanity i think it's tough to get accurate calorie burn. Think i burn more than the hrm says as it's mixed cardio and strength involved.

Lol funny but true! To build abs I've found the Brazil butt lift episode "tummy tuck" has helped a lot. But again I couldn't see the results until I reached a certain bf%. Even now if I hold onto water or gain a couple lbs 6 pack becomes 4 and 4 can become 2 if really sloppy.
