Only a box a week? I, unfortunately, have fallen off my wagon and for the last 2 days have went through 2 boxes... so a box a day :( no bueno. I need to send them to my husbands work, so other people can eat them. It is really hard to say no to them little morsels of goodness. There is not a kind I don't like!

Good job! You look amazing! I love how happy you look in all of your photos, such a great way to be! Congrats!

Thank you for this! Great advice to the OP, as well as others! I'm glad I had the opportunity to read this today, it is actually just what I needed to hear!

AND... you get a serious sweat from it if you keep up with her! I think her videos are great. That being said, after a while her peppy-ness gets a little annoying, but I just turn the volume down and listen to some good music instead! Good luck!

OMG... I'm drooling. I LOVE those little eggs...

Please consult with your provider. Stopping an anti-depressant on your own is never a good idea. Your provider may agree with you weaning off of it, as some people only need to be on them for short times to get through a depressive period, while others need to be on them much longer. Please, call your provider!

This is so true. I had a really crappy last couple of days (its been my daughters birthday) family in town, lots of cake and junk to eat. I usually let myself eat in moderation all the stuff everyone else is. But I felt like total Shi+ yesterday after eating all that junk. Time to clean up the diet. It is really amazing…

If that is what you are comfortable doing for your eating style there is nothing wrong with it. I don't eat breakfast very often. I prefer to eat the majority of my calories in the evening, and there are days where I'm not really hungry until about 3 in the afternoon. It helps to bulk up your meals with lower calorie foods…

I lost about 30 pounds after being put on Metformin about 4 years ago. Then I maintained a weight for a while, but would fluctuate between 5-10 pounds (I wasn't trying either). Now, I actively started trying to count and weigh all my foods and drinks, and exercise too. I've been consistently loosing about 2 pounds a week…

I'm so sorry for your loss, I can't imagine what that would be like. You are amazing for all you have done and accomplished, and your story is so inspiring! Keep it up, you look fantastic!

I've set my treadmill at a 1-2% incline the whole time I've been on it. I have been told this is supposed to mimick effort of running on pavement, I think the treadmill is harder for some reason though. I love running outdoors, especially when it's cold (the colder the better), but had knee surgery last year, and now I can…

It is hard at the beginning to lower carbs when you are so used to eating them. But, a higher protein and fat ratio really does keep you more satisfied than carbs (maybe not a feel good soul food type satisfied, but less hungry in general) :). I have PCOS, insulin resistance, and hypothyroidism, I take Metformin 500mg…

Cookies and cream!!

You look great, and about 20 years younger!

I have hypothyroidism and PCOS (which is insulin resistance). I've been consistently loosing 2.5 pounds a week since the beginning of January. I eat right and weigh/measure/log everything I eat, and run/walk 3x a week. Talk with your endocrinologist, since he/she is a specialist in that area. No offense at all to your…

I've never thought of it that way. Now that I think of it, a pint has always been a serving size (to me) and I don't think I would want it either if I couldn't eat the entire pint.

Yes, could is so much more true. I was trying to give myself the benefit of the doubt, because I ALMOST did it last night, but chose not to. My husband was my last safety net. I asked him if he wanted a frozen pizza for supper because I wanted to go get Ben and Jerry's for MY supper. He said, get it if you want, but you…

OMG... Love love love it too! It is my one weakness. I almost wish they would discontinue it

* An entire pint of Ben and Jerry's "Half Baked" -- I could probably still do this! * Box of girl scout cookies in 1-2 days * Eating until it hurt (don't understand what possessed me to do this) * Almost an entire bag of Doritos, with whipped cream cheese as a dip

YES!!! hahaa

I feel the desire to hug you because I'm an extremely empathetic person. Sometimes a nice, warm and meaningful embrace gives you a little extra strength too! Just know we are all here for you, MPF has been the best support for me because everyone understands to a certain extent what you are going through. Keep your head…

This is a great read! Maybe you do need to fix your cage, Marcus. Does your girlfriend and co-workers support you in a healthy way? More importantly, I wouldn't say one day eating like that un-does all the hard work you have put into getting healthy up until that point. Log it all and wake up to a new day.

Thanks for the advice!

I feel like that is bullying in the adult world. Some people are just rude. Good for you for cutting out the negativity, it isn't worth it. Keep on doing what you are doing!

HATE girl scout cookie season, because my daughter sells them and has super high goals for sales. So, that relates to us having cases upon cases of every kind of cookie lined up in my basement. Makes me sad that I know I shouldn't eat them all!

Thanks! That seems like common sense, and I'm an educated woman, but I guess when it starts getting down to the nitty gritty, I want to be as precise as I can, and start second guessing everything. :)

Agree, I never said asking a pharmacist would be a bad idea.
