Nicely done ! Good job working through the cravings and temptations. I love that you update everyday

Every two weeks. Sometimes I get impatient and weigh myself on the 10th or 11th day. I used to do once a week but as one of the posters said above, the more time you wait in between weigh ins, the more you’ll see fat loss. I’m prone to getting discouraged from too little weight loss so I try not to focus on the scale and…

That last paragraph says it all...congrats :-)

I’m going through this as well. I’m feeling frustrated about working hard, cutting calories but seeing little to no results. I’m into my 4th month using MFP. During the quarantine, seeing as how everything was closed, I could never get tempted about eating out. So it came much easier to do the right thing. But now they’ve…

So sorry to hear that you’re struggling. This is such a tough process for us all and it definitely takes a mental toll. I’ve felt what you’ve felt while eating 1400cals a day. I’d get to a point where I’m like screw it, I’m just gonna eat and drink whatever. I noticed that that I gave into temptation too many times so I…

I was kind of on the same boat. I was going to the gym everyday. Unfortunately they’ve had to close down due to covid. So instead of letting that get me down or using that as an excuse to stay home and watch tv and drink, I’ve made the choice daily to walk the trails in my neighborhood for an hour or more. I’m still…

I don’t know if I agree. I Have old friends here and there who will point out that I’ve lost weight and honestly, it makes me feel good because sometimes I can’t see it or tell the difference when I look in the mirror. So it gives me a little confidence boost. Myself personally, (everyone has a different reason for using…

Sometimes the mind needs time to catch up with the body. I know I have that problem myself every now and then. Literally a few times a week I find myself wondering if it’s all worth it. It’s much easier to give up and eat and drink whatever I want. Just remember your goal and why you started. You don’t have to be motivated…

Yes I do always

If it fits the calories maybe have a little piece ? If not, throw it out. Especially if you don't think you have the willpower to save it for when you do have the cals. I know it's tough but remember why you're here. Commit to not over snacking for just tonight.

My motivation is...the simple fact that I've gained 40 of the 55 lbs I've lost 2 years ago. I want to get back to where I was. Fit into cutesy clothing and wear crop tops and tight little dresses while I'm still in my 20s and it's still appropriate. I ordered a beautiful satin romper a few weeks ago and when I received it…

Wow, he sounds horrendous!! Wonder what it'll take for him to change that heinous personality of his

Thanks for all the messages folks, very helpful!

My NSV: I have no desire to binge on junkfood or alcohol tonight. Lots of days I have difficulty. Also Idk if this counts but today I just wanted to lay around and be lazy after running around at work. I knocked out an hour of cardio anyway
-
Crazy how that happens. Should that be chalked up to water weight ?

I used to have this issue quite a bit. Whenever I have that issue I tell myself not to overindulge because the junk food , alcohol , pizza etc will still be there tomorrow, next week/month etc. take it day by day. Commit yourself to very small goals because it's easier that way. For example just make it through one day…

lol I wish I knew what you were talking about *shrugs*

Thanks ! Everything you've said makes sense. I guess now I'm concerned because lots of times I start to drink and then I get comfortable with eating more junk food. Of course once I sober up I start self loathing over it. I just have to learn to have self control if I'm gonna have cocktails

Fantastic job! Keep it up!

Yup, I'm in! I need all the help I can get for summer '16.

The days and weeks are going to pass no matter what you decide to do. Make the best of it so that instead of looking back with regret you can look back and be happy that you put in the work and did your best.

I'd love to!

Feel free to message me. I'm on the same boat :)

Woo! You did it !

I bought a pair of heels a year and a half ago when I was 60 pounds heavier. That week, I tried to walk the 25 minute walk to the train station in them and had to change into flats soon after because I couldn't handle it. Fast forward to last week , 60 pounds lighter, wearing the same heels in a nightclub in Vegas, dancing…

You can always get a wine pump. They're pretty cheap and they take the air out. They sell them on Amazon. I bought mine at publix

Look at the bigger picture. Maybe today you did poorly and feel bad about it, but after eating right and exercising for days, weeks, and months, today won't matter. Just move on and continue to try to do the right thing. You can do it!

My first guess was 125-130. I guess I was off. Nice job and great bod :)

Today I didn't want to eat boring stuff like nuts and grilled chicken and yogurt but I did it anyway. Haha I wanted to eat Mexican food so bad

Have you spoken to your parents about your goals of cutting down on junk? Maybe you could tell them to pick up a few healthy items when they make the supermarket trip.
