Thanks for the replies everyone. I started the Jillian Michaels 30 day shred today. I know that's not intensive, but it's been a few months since I've really worked out, so it's a good start for me. I already wake up at 530am for work as a teacher. No way could I get up earlier and function well enough to teach AFTER the gym.

I'm 5'6" and my doctor recommended 160 to start. MY goal is below 150. Possibly down to 140 if I'm still not happy with my appearance at 150. We'll see. I'm at 161 right now.

I have switched to diet soda, only once a day, then at dinner a caffeine free diet soda, and I have completely given up other drinks besides water. I think I had wine ONCE since I've started losing, and it fit in my calories so it was like dessert.

I keep around a giant bag of Hershey's kisses, and I eat four of them at the end of every day as dessert. I could never live without my chocolate fix. Lol

When I meal prep (only been doing it a little over a month now) I refrigerate. It's been fine so far. And as far as no microwave, that might be a problem. I use mine at work. Although, I just hate eating most leftovers cold. If that doesn't bother you, then it's probably fine.

I was pretty hungry the first two weeks of a 1200 calorie diet, but now I'm three months in and I don't even usually hit the 1200, and I feel completely satisfied.

I like to see good numbers with it, and it motivates me, but it's not like I ever remember the exact number it gives me, and check it. I kind of just take it as a "job well done" at the end of my day.

I didn't go TERRIBLY high over, and it was on Saturday. I'm hoping that by tomorrow I see something more positive on the scale again. @257_Lag thanks for the helpful food tips! I didn't know that potassium would help!
