I tried it tonight. Prepared by a hot water rinse, and a dry fry. It tasted fine, the texture was like al dente al dente. Not bad for my first run. Looking forward to making it again to work on the end result texture. Thank for your tips!

Did you look to see if the needle pointed at zero both times? Sometimes you have to adjust the dial to re-calibrate the reading. (Edited for a typo!)
