  • I'm back again. Restarted 10/19. Gained back almost 30 pounds after 3 years off Medifast. I know it works so I'm going for it again.
  • I recommend Medifast. In 2011 I lost quite a bit of weight on it. Started 2011 at 200 pounds, and by Christmas I was 136, mostly thanks to Medifast, although I started that year out on the dreadful HCG so I lost some that way. Over the last 2 years I have slowly put back on about 15 pounds (from careless eating) and I…
  • I lost quite a bit of weight on Medifast. I have been off for almost 2 years and managed to gain back 15 pounds or so. (Didn't transition properly and did some careless eating - totally my fault). I restarted Monday and am hoping to lose 20 pounds this time. I like the program because it is no-nonsense. I don't like…
  • Thanks Pat! I tried the chewy bar yesterday and I loved it. I think it would be great cold out of the fridge. I am not a fan of the mac and cheese. Hoping I can doctor it up a little bit as I bought 2 boxes. :(
  • Ah yes, the Medifarts. We've been becoming re-acquainted this week. I had them on my first go with MF last year as well. I just learn to live with it and apologize a lot to my husband. ;) .... Or blame the dog.
  • I'm 5' 7-1/2" and my highest weight was 246 -- (pregnant). Stabilized at 220 (The left-side pic in my profile pic). I got down to 134 last year, but have been maintaining around 140/145 for the last year and a half or so. Today I'm 141.6. You can do it!
  • I have had a tummy tuck w/ abdominal lipo after 3 pregnancies and losing over 100 pounds since my highest pregnant weight. It is the best thing I have ever done for myself and I would do it again in a heartbeat!
  • MyFitnessPal, Runtastic,
  • "Miss Me" Easy Boot or Easy Straight cuts from Buckle. They are a bit higher rise and cover my butt crack and are a little roomier in the hips and thighs than the regular low rise ones. I also like some of the MEK jeans and some of the BKE's. (I love shopping at Buckle).
  • "Bread Cheese" Slice it, fry it up in a pan. Delicious when dipped in sugar free syrup. Mmmmm......
  • I throw the chicken noodle soup, and 1 cup of hot water from my hot water dispenser into a thermos and let it sit for a few hours. Then I just take it out and eat it and it's still hot and very cooked. I like it better that way compared to the way it says to cook it in the directions. This could work nicely if you take it…
  • Feel free to friend me. I have been on Medifast (with a few "breaks") since August of 2011. It is a wonderful program! As far as food I'm not a fan of either the SW Eggs or the French Vanilla. Almost all the shakes I use Unsweetened Vanilla Almond milk instead of water and a squirt of sugar free hersheys syrup to make it…
  • I had a tummy tuck 4 weeks ago and the difference is already amazing. I am 5'7" and was 136 when I had the surgery, and I'm 138 today. (I still have a bit of swelling and fluid retention from the healing process). I've had 3 children and at my heaviest was 246 pounds so I had a lot of loose skin. If you can afford it I see…
  • I don't either! It doesn't even look like the same person! I'm jealous though!! Thank you so much! Good luck on your weight loss journey! :)
  • HOLY COW! How in the world did that happen? I wish my skin would have bounced back like that. You're very lucky!!
  • Afraid not. Here's what my belly used to look like (granted, I was 16 in this pic but it was pretty flat before birthing 3 kids) Me and my stretched out belly from pregnancy (237 pounds): Me IN CLOTHES now (136 pounds): And what's leftover of my belly when the clothes come off (NASTY!!!!): As you can see, there really is…
  • WOW!! Great job! You look incredible! That is an amazing weight loss! :)
  • I'm 5' 7 1/2" . Here's a pic of me at about 205 (A size 20): And here's me now at 136 (A size 6)
  • Conda & Kim both need to go! If Conda doesn't go tonight, I'm not sure I can stand to watch another episode. These people are just the worst cast yet.
  • There is no hope for my tummy after 3 large babies. My tummy tuck is scheduled for March 1. I could do 100,000 sit ups a day and lose 20 more pounds and this will still be here. I'm currently 5'7" and 136 pounds and this is what I'm left with. More pics at my blog: http://mommystummytuck.com
  • amuchison is right. If you'd like to come chat with us over at Medifast Losers, here's the link: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/forums/show/723-medifast-losers- I've had great success on Medifast and it is definitely not just a "starvation" diet. You get 100% + of all of your required vitamins and nutrients.
  • Hi zml_mom, it sounds like we are in the same boat. I have just about reached my goal of 135 (I'm 137) and 5'7". (Highest pregnant weight was 246). I actually had a consultation and am having the abdominoplasty on March 1st. I have TONS of extra sagging skin on my belly. My 2 year old actually asks to play with it. ("Mommy…
  • Experienced MFP user here just about to reach my goal. I would love to encourage everyone who is just starting their journey! Feel free to add me! :)
  • Hi! Medifast is an awesome program! I love it and have had great success on it! Welcome!!!!
  • If you get a hot or iced americano with a splash of cream and either splenda or a sugar free flavored syrup, that's pretty low cal/low carb. http://www.starbucks.com/menu/drinks/espresso/caffe-americano?foodZone=9999#size=94 Or the skinny peppermint mocha isn't super bad. (100 cal / 13 carbs)
  • I pay $165 every 2 weeks for "Premium" cleaning of my 2-story 2500+ sq foot 5 bd 3ba home. The premium service also includes extra stuff like wiping down walls/outlets, picking up toys, baseboards, dusting ceiling fans and all the stuff that isn't included in their basic cleaning package.
  • I live on the following (besides the shakes, which I actually like). :) - Chicken Noodle Soup (It's good if you soak in boiling water in a thermos for an hour and add salt and pepper) - Vegetarian Sloppy Joe (sautéed up in a frying pan with diced tomatoes and some diced onions and green peppers) - S'mores Bars - Lemon…
  • I've had a BodyMedia Fit CORE since October. I LOVE it!
  • Maybe you got a bad box. I don't know. I make mine all the time. I use 2 TBSP of Da Vinci Sugar Free Cookie Dough syrup instead of water. I microwave it for a little longer (1 minute 45 seconds) and I love the way mine turns out. Kind of like a chewy piece of bread.
