I just bought the first book today! Saving it for my 4 hour bus ride tomorrow :)

My FAV peanut butter is Teddie's All Natural Smooth Unsalted Peanut Butter. The natural stuff is the best and although at first I wasn't that crazy about the all natural stuff, now I LOVE it and if I ever have Jif or Peter Pan or any other "regular" peanut butter it just tastes weird. Peanut butter is very calorie dense so…

My go to quick low calorie dinner is usually egg whites with some cheese and steamed veggies on the side. If I'm feeling really lazy I'll just microwave the egg whites instead on making an omelet on the stove

I was drinking 4-6 20 oz Coke zeros during the work day alone - I gave it up cold turkey September 1 (mainly for financial reasons) and have felt SO much better since I gave it up! I still drink my coffee, water and crystal light and yes i use artificial sweeteners in my coffee but I think cutting out the soda (which I was…

I get all of my activewear at TJ Maxx or Marshalls - I have about a dozen of the same brand of sports bra (with some variety of colors :) and I doubt I paid more than $15 per bra. My favorite brand is athletic essentials - they definitely keep the girls in their place!

Hey - I'd like to join this group too. I've got about 13 lbs to go. I've lost about 10 lbs in the last month and a half or so by being VERY on track (minus last Tuesday aargh) and by eating just about all of my exercise calories each day as well. I'm getting to the point where I'm debating whether or not to change my goal…

I completely agree! What I love about MFP is it isn't a "program" - it's a tool, but it's really the community of people on here and their positive words and encouragement that I think make it such a success.

I'm stealing your word "hangry"

Now that it's fall I'm adding pumpkin spice to everything including my coffee! Cinnamon is also a great no calorie flavoring. Flavored soy milk (though not as creamy obviously) might be an option as well. The Blue Diamond Almond Breeze unsweetened vanilla soy milk is only 40 calories per cup!

I am all about soup in the winter - i think Progresso has a lot of high fiber varieties now. Also, in the winter oatmeal becomes a snack for me as well as my breakfast - warm and filling :). I usually eat an apple each day with a scoop of PB but if it's cold out, I'll slice it up, throw it in the microwave with some…

I'm a big fan on the Monday morning weigh in a lot of people have posted about. That's my weigh-in day each week and it helps keep me honest over the weekend. I think it's so important to plan your weekends in advance. During the week, I've got a good routine so I try to make my weekends as routine as possible as well.

One - congrats on the 120 lb weight loss - that is amazing! Two - I've had similar issues related to what do I tell people about the "old" me and how to explain why I didn't date anyone for years! I was on a date with a guy (I think it was our second) who happened to be a part time personal trainer. We were talking about…

WOW - all i can say is WOW :)

Thanks to all of YOU for helping keep ME motivated! This is the first time I've been successful in quitting soda and doing the challenge with all of you guys is what made it possible!

O to the MG - is it really September 30?? 30 days without soda and I'm still alive!!!!

I take one skip day each week normally, but if there are days where I'm sick or in pain, I do allow myself another skip day - sometimes giving your body a break goes a long way to make sure you get a great workout the next day!

Home stretch peoples!! Still haven't given into temptation after 3 weeks! I've also noticed that I've broken through a mini-plateau and finally starting dropping a few lbs again - I'm NOT attributing that entirely to cutting out soda (was only drinking diet anyways) I thinks it's a combination of being on track financially…

In the fall especially I LOVE plain oatmeal with a scoop (about a quarter cup) of pumpkin mixed in and then add some cinnamon. NOM. And if you have a Trader Joe's nearby, their heart healthy Cranberry Oatmeal is AMAZING. and my saturday morning standby is plain oats + unsweetened vanilla almond milk + 1 tbsp peanut butter…
