  • Glad I found this discussion. I am 14 weeks with baby #2 and have gained about 5 pounds. I am already overweight to begin with, so I am hoping that I dont overdo it like I did with my first pregnancy... to add more stress, I have been asked to be a bridesmaid in my Brothers wedding FOUR weeks after I am due. How on earth…
  • Hi! I am 3 months pg and trying to find a safe "diet" so that I don't go overboard like I did with my first pregnancy! Have you been following a certain eating plan or changed up your calorie, etc intake?
  • Awesome story! Awesome progress! So excited for you. Keep it up!
  • Awesome job! Congrats!! What type of meal plan do you follow?
  • Sugar free jello cup (10-60 cals depending on brand/flavor) with plop of FF cool whip on top (about 15 cals for 2 tbsp) Sweet Freedom snack size ice cream sandwich (80 cals). I always hit up the sugar free ice cream desserts. Quaker gluten free caramel rice cakes (50 cals) and they actually taste pretty good. Could drizzle…
  • I sautee cut onions, green peppers and chicken. Add whatever seasoning. You could find a low carb wrap or eat it by itself in a bowl. I'm hoping for some good recipe ideas here too!
  • Microwave two slices of low sodium bacon, cut a few slices of tomato and wrap them in a large leaf of lettuce. BLT wrap! Brown hamburger meat and add a little taco seasoning, diced tomatoes and a pinch of shredded cheese. Good alone or on top of lettuce. Or make a taco soup with kidney beans. I havent found a favorite way…
  • I'd love to get your favorite recipes with this 4hr body plan! Today is my day 1... Fingers crossed! Your bread sounds great! Any recipe instructions you would share are so appreciated! How's your progress?
  • I don't have advice for you, as today is my first day on the 4 hour body plan. I'm just wondering what meal/snack ideas you have. Did you eat every 4hrs? Looking for real life advice! Thanks!!
  • I have Jif in the cabinet too... and I have a hard time just having a little! I've also got PB2.. in chocolate and regular flavors. It is great to use on toast! It doesn't taste as good if you eat it by the spoonful (Hey, don't judge me). You can find the info at BellPlantation.com I would love to hear what others have to…
  • I couldn't do it without my supportive peeps! Add me! :flowerforyou:
  • You go girl.... I needed to hear that today. You have motivated me to get on that treadmill. Thanks and keep it up!! You ARE all that and a bag of chips. Mmm.... chips...... haha!
  • I too have a HUGE sweet tooth... ok, I think all of my teeth are sweet teeth. On top of that, I have a husband with the metabolism of a freight train and eats ice cream, hershey bars, brownies, blah blah... which means that there is always SOMETHING sweet in the house. I can be reaching for it and tell myself that it will…
  • I just cleaned out my closet and gave my "fat clothes" away!! That just adds to the motivation (cause if I gain, I will have to buy more clothes!). Get rid of those things, and slowly build up a skinny clothes wardrobe! :)
  • WooooooooHoooooooooooo!!! So excited for you!! I know you've GOT to feel GREAT about your progress!! Congrats!
  • Congrats for getting yourself back in gear! Falling off those logs and horses happen to the best of us... but it can end up being some great motivation in the end. Good luck to you!

  • I just got another shipment in this week. I LOVE it. It truly is a great sub for the real thing. Smells like it, gets to the same consistency and is tasty. It isnt as good as the realy thing if you just eat it by the spoonful, but it is perfect to mix with things... jelly, ice cream, etc. Good stuff!

  • Congrats on the first step! This website has been so helpful... when you really stick to the calorie limits and exercise. I have seen so many people (including myself) try crash diets, pills, starvations, liquid diets, blah blah. Honestly, and truthfully, it is good ole diet and exercise that gets the weight off and KEEPS…
  • I am not in your shoes, so I can't tell you what my "solution" is.... I do know that you are at a weight that I would give anything to be. So, the jealous side says to get over it. Ha. But, I can totally get how you are feeling. Do your clothes fit any differently? Maybe you are adding some tone from muscle.... and yes, it…
  • And you are itty bitty anyways at 125, lol. You shouldnt expect big jumps.... but I know its got to get frustrating not to see the scale move. But campers is right, more exercise may be the reason for feeling better but having the same #s. How tall are you?
  • Oops, and..... Where do you live? Dothan, AL Married/Single/Divorced/Dating? Married Kids? None! (Does a husband count?) Occupation? Speech Therapist
  • I was born in Pensacola! I love it there...
  • What a story! Congrats on losing weight the "right" way! After all of my crazy diet attempts, it really is true that the only way to lose weight and keep it off is from good ole diet and exercise. Watching calories and sweating is what works, and your loss is awesome! Keep up the good work!
  • I have found the caramel rice cakes to be a life saver at times. 50 calories each, so I am able to eat several of them and satisfy the "crunch" that I need. I also LOVE original hummus, but you have to be careful with the stuff you dip in it (I typically have reduced fat wheat thins around). WalMart has those pre-cut apple…
  • I completely give Zumba credit for the last 10 pounds lost. It is a great way to burn calories and it is really fun! Now if I could just figure out how to log in Zumba to my exercises! What dvds have you guys been using? I wouldnt mind getting a good dvd for the days I cant go to the studio!

  • No refried beans. No sour cream. No greasy meat. No cheese. No flour. Haha, just kidding. It's hard to do "good" with Mexican, so order something yummy, but only eat half. And make up for it with exercise!
  • I'm with ya. I was having a hard time walking right after work because it shot my chances of doing anything that night (would have to get ready for a second time that day). I was too tired to wait til after dinner to walk... so I have been getting up a 5am and walking for 30 minutes every day. Yes, monday through friday.…
  • So, anyone know the nutritional stats of the sweet potato fries vs. the regulars?
  • Awesome info. That's the stuff I need to hear. Thank you so much... and I will be sure to do my homework on these trainers! :grumble:
  • Thanks for the good words and encouragement to all of you! I was thinking the same thing in the "I paid for it and have someone waiting for me, so I HAVE to go". Think I will give it a try! :flowerforyou:
