I love you guys!

It's critical that you log everything and log portions as accurately as you can. Focus on that. Being too far over budget, or too far under can cause big problems.
-
Damn dude! Good job!

Every Monday for some reason.

You're friggin' amazing. I have no doubt you can reach your goal. Feel free to add me as a friend, if you want!

Once upon a time I lost 60 lbs on here. 2 years ago, for reasons I'm unsure of, I stopped tracking and soon fell into old habits and gained all 60 back. :( I'm back and looking for friends to kick my butt if I slack off again. I've already lost 16lbs! Feel free to add me!

I'm in the same boat. Lost a lot of weight on here a few years ago and gained it all back because pizza and candy is delicious...

It's ridiculous we consider this sugar loaded crap a breakfast food anymore. It's getting to the point where it's almost healthier to eat a snickers bar. At least you'd get some protein...

+1 for Vitafusion.

I've lost over 60 pounds since I started riding again 10 months ago. I was doing 8 miles a day, but my weight loss eventually tapered off, so I bumped it up to 20 miles. Now I seem to have stalled again, so I guess I have to bump it up some more. Oh boy... Fortunately I love biking, and plan to do some long distance…

Not to take away from what you've achieved here, you look great, but I'm pretty sure I have a sexier back than Lindsay Lohan. Seriously though, cocaine is a hell of a drug...

I vote get a replacement as well. Mine is still working beautifully.

I did something very similar with plain yogurt and regular peanut butter. I can confirm it tastes like vomit, and it's now number one on my "grossest concoction" list.
-
Do you have any science to back this up or is this just stuff you got from an email forward?
-
I went down a shoe size as well, which was stunning to me. I had no idea feet could hold so much fat...
-
Yes!! I love riding. I try to do at least 20 miles a day. I want to get into some long distance touring stuff soon. Feel free to add me! I don't have any cycling friends on here yet.

Why are you so afraid of people finding out? Since when is losing weight a shameful thing?
-
Holy common sense batman! Well said, I couldn't agree more.
-
Unforgivable. The MFP goons will be at your door to take you away shortly.
-
Don't worry about it. Pretty sure you'll survive one night of binge brownie eating. Now if you do this every night, we may have a problem...
-
Annndd things just got a little weirder...

I found taking magnesium works great for times like these. And as others have said, make sure you're getting enough water! Your body uses a lot of water to, um, keep traffic moving along smoothly...

As was mentioned, the key is to set realistic goals and be extremely patient! Some months you'll lose a pound or two a week, some months you'll lose nothing. That's just how it is. You didn't gain it overnight, and you're not going to lose it overnight!
-
Hi there! The first week is mostly water weight, then in the next few weeks you should start losing actual fat. As you seem to be figuring out, the key is to not get discouraged no matter what, because plateaus will be a frequent occurrence and it will seem like you're doing it all for nothing, but trust me, you're not!…

How to get rich: 1. Attach a diet program to some kind of spray which costs 50 cents to produce. 2. Tell people it's the spray making them lose weight and charge $149 for it. 3. ???? 4. Profit!

Some scales are programmed to display the last number they displayed if your weight hasn't deviated much since the last time you weighed yourself. If they didn't do this, your weight would be slightly different every time you stepped on because bathroom scales just aren't very accurate.

Taking glucosamine worked great for me.

Tell them you're 4 years sober tomorrow, slap them in the face with a pair of gloves and yell HOW DARE YOU SIR! Walk away and pretend it never happened. Works every time.
-
I use an Eat Smart scale and love it. But yeah, you can't weigh yourself using several different scales. Pick one and stick with it. Bathroom scales aren't precision instruments, almost every single one is going to give you a slightly different number.

Give it more time. My weight stayed the same for a little over a month at one point, and then it just started melting off.
