  • It does contain sugar and salt. Its not only vinegar and herbs. I don't want eat only pickles from the store, i like a bit onion or something in my salad. It gives an extra flavor / bite. But i haven't found the right way of logging yet. Now i only log the vegetable but it feels like cheating.
  • Thanks for the response. Oke, so I'll just calcute only the vegetables.
  • Now i hacve the fitbit one and I use to want the fitbit charge 2 (as a present for my first subgoal) but now i am looking at the new misfit vapor (coming summer 2017) or the withings steel. I tend to lean to a hybrid but one with a heart rate function. I dont want to spend more then €200 to be honest. Reached my first…
  • I have the same problem, not sure how to fix it.
  • Curvygirl glad to hear you got some positive energy to deal with this abuse. Real sad the rest of the family is also treating you bad. But you are right in not accepting this. Keep looking to the mfp community for true support and motivation!
  • I just finished a robyn carr novell, part of the thunder point serie. Reading the serie the sorcerer's ring from morgan rice. Like to switch genres.
  • I have been on and off for years and mostly with part of my weight coming back to me. Stress is a huge factor, which can be caused by different things. Been back for a week, offcourse i am hoping this time i will keep going and once i am back at my goal weight can keep it off. But one step at a time!

  • Same here!
  • Jezus, can't imagine that a family member would say such things, must be really hurtfull. Isn't anyone else living with you who can help you? I agree with option 4, try to change how you react to it. It maybe by humor, it maybe by ignoring or anything that feels good. I had to tell my parents (on a totally different…
  • You know there is a fitbit group? Look there you will find many people who can help and push you to move more! (And yes i have a fitbit but i am already struggling to make 8000 steps)
  • Sending a big hug, yes it sucks but you are back on it again so the weight is going to go away! and another encouraging hug is coming your way
  • Okay i am a bit late tuning, but i laughed a lot reading all of your posts! I alternate between cooking from scratch and microwave/oven ready. If it fits in my calories then it is fine by me. I have gained my weight back but only when i stopped counting, so if i keep doing that i can keep enjoying lots of different foods…
  • I want to loose 21 lbs this year, so i am back at my weight from november 2015. I want to get back in the flow of doing yoga at least 3 times a week (short sets) and keeping up with my steps every day. Tomorrow i start logging again, so that's another goal: keep logging!
  • Totally can related. I miss the way you could just call up on the day or the evening before and then have a great evening out with friends (and not paying for it the next day like nowadays because i aint used to alcohol anymore). I like that we now go out to diner instead of trying to create a meal for a lot of people with…
  • I am currently reading the sword of truth series, just started it. And i just read cecile en elsa (by Elisabeth Leijnse), it is a dutch history novel. I seem to switch between fantasy, biography/history and romantic novels (guilty pleasure). It depends on my mood and energy i guess
  • Totally know what you mean. I had bad weeks with days where i wasnt able to stop myself eating. It took logging everything for a few days and getting on the scale to stop myself (and trying my new pants on that i bought when i hit lowest weight so far and realizing i looked like a muffin). But i agree with the others:…
  • Okay got to report back now the first week has past. I must admit total failure. Had a tough workweek and slept really bad, so yesterday i was weak and gave in to all my cravings and hardly moved. So today i am going to start again in the hope the rest of september will go better.
  • I tend to crave when there is: -a emotional thing or -when I have eaten too little because I was too busy at work or -I didn't work enough of my favourite food types in my meal planning. Cutting food out doesn't work for me, but moderation does. And moderation started to work when I logged everything so I was confronted…
  • I agree that settkng goals and 'reporting' on them helps me staying on track. I am starting to lose focus because i am close to my goal. Its partially because these last few take the longest, partially because people are already starting to notice and partiallybecause i am sort of scared (what if i reached it, am i able to…
  • I am getting conpliments while the scale is kinda on a stand still. But i thought i should celebrate and bought a fitbit (and a charm for my bracelet) to push myself a bit further.
  • Stroopwafels or in english treacle waffle, when i eat one i want another and another...but one is 180kcal so its not really a healthy snack. Sometimes i fit one in my day but its really difficult to quit after one. o and having a glass of wine with my friends, almost everytime its leads to another and another. In the past…
  • Okay i'm joining again, little bit late but hey better late than never. Won't be doing the fitness challenge because i had surgery and i can't do that yet. Instead i will start with carefully doing yoga again. And the second goal is starting logging again...
  • Its never to late, good luck on your journey!
  • Had a rough week because i am having problems with my galblatter and maybe it has to be removed. I am super tired, anxious and really moody and today i have been eating like crazy (trying to eat the emotion away, its stupid but cant seem to stop). But there is still a small weight loss so thats good news.
  • I have gone to bed to avoid snacking, but only when i knew it was emotional need and not real hunger. The bedtime regime helps to avoid the trap of emotional binging.
  • I make a sort of pizza, with the bottom being a tortilla and a 'healthy' marinara sauce to top it. then i only use vegetables and a just a bit of cheese. Look at the yummly website, there are plenth of examples there.
  • Currently i am not, but in the past have been and then it can go 2 ways: binging or no desire to eat at all. I still have to watch myself when i am upset / emotional, because i tend to eat it away.
  • @HatherM‌ and @mamarundrc‌, you'll get there. Just keep going. After maintaining a few weeks, i have a loss again.
