This! 100%. I highly suggest getting Strong Curves and reading up on the stuff Bret Contreras wrote. After losing weight adding upper body mass really helped get the hourglass shape and, well, the booty increase is quite nice ^_-

This. Let the teacher know this is your first class. As for food before, honestly I never paid attention to what I eat before doing yoga but I wouldn't eat a good 2 hours before the class. Maybe a snack like a banana would be best since it's at 8pm but it's hard to tell, every body is different. Don't sweat it, go with the…

This. There is no need to workout for hours. Sometimes less is better! As for gaining muscle and losing weight, you can't really do both unless you are recomping (eating at maintenance, your body weight will roughly stay the same but your body composition will change, very slowly) If your goal is fat loss, then you need to…

There's no meals or meal plans for weight loss. Stay within your calories and eat what you want to eat. I eat the same thing when I'm cutting as when I'm bulking, it's just the portion that changes.

Man... I used to use a spoon to mesure my PB (which I eat daily) and decided to try a scale once, boy was I sad when I realized I'd been using 4 times the amount I was logging LOL!!!

It runs the same size as Lulu. I however don't recommend them. If you are in Canada and want to encourage an amazing canadian brand, I recommend Innerfire, they are in BC, their products are amazing (made of part recycled plastic bottles). Noli is also a favorite of mine although from the US so you'll have to pay xchange…

In your goal tab you can manually set the daily calories, as for the exercise calories you can enter 1 (it won't let you enter 0, at least not for me).

Same thing here. It's much easier to manage my calories with IF!

You can find a lot of overnight oats / chia seeds recipes online and they are really easy. I often go with cottage cheese, fruits and nuts for my first meal, easy and balanced plus it's pretty good!

I personally think that doing both, especially if you say you are working out 2hrs a day would be counterproductive. You want a balance between your yoga and strength training in order to really get the full benefit of both. If your focus is yoga then perhaps 3 vinyasa or power class a week and 1 gentle yin or hatha class…

Yoga doesn't burn that much calories unless you are doing a very vigorous practice like power yoga or a very fast paced Vinyasa. As others said, the weight loss will happen with a calorie deficit more than anything. That being said, there are numerous benefits to doing yoga.

Oh this sounds so yummy :o
-
It's about the calories. Your body doesn't care when you eat them. If you are at a deficit you will lose weight, eat over and you will gain.

Do you eat seafood and dairy products ? I get quite a lot from eggs and seafood but if you don't you shouldn't have issues getting enough iron if you are careful. http://www.vrg.org/nutrition/iron.php A quick google search will give you plenty of ideas.

I doubt those 4 lbs are from the gatorade and probably water retention. Surely you didn't drink/eat 14000 extra calories in 2 days. Just fit the calories from the gatorade in your daily calories and it shouldn't be a problem and if it really is then drink water. I wouldn't sweat for 4 lbs on the scale, besides, it probably…

Bread, peanut butter, cottage cheese aND a banana. I'm boring that way

You can add me as well, but my logs are pretty boring lol!

I don't have cheat meals / day. I just fit what I wanna eat in my macros. If I plan on going out and having a big dinner or something I'll just eat less at lunch and balance it out. I do allow myself a buffer of around 500 cals extra every week so I don't sweat if I do end up going over. Works fine for me so far :)
